Chapter 20: Scarlett's Fate

  Scarlett-
  I had just to my home after my date with Hayden. My mansion door was cracked open. I pulled out my Butterfly Sword and slowly walked in.
  I felt a hand grab my mouth and I started flailing. I began to feel weak after a while. I passed out falling in his arms.
  I woke up tied to a chair in a storm cellar. "You're a pretty girl. I can see why the red ranger likes you so much. When he comes for you, I'm make sure he doesn't walk away." Blade said.
  I struggled to get out. "Meanwhile, I guess I'll enjoy my time with you." He said unzipping his pants and sitting on top of me.

  Hayden-
  I went to Scarlett's house in the morning like I said I would and the door was cracked open. I drew Excalibur and walked in. She wasn't home. I shut the door and locked it with the spare key under the pot.
  I went to the hideout. "Is Scarlett here by any chance?" I asked Troy who was watching a show on one of the bean bag chairs.
  "Not with me, but you can check in the training room with Cole and Kara." Troy said.
  I nodded and walked in. Kara had taken down Cole and was on top of him her vagina on top of his balls and she held his arms down. They were sweating and she stood up helping him up. "That's the tenth time you've taken me down today!" Cole shouted.
  "You'll get there. Cole you were tortured for thirty years in Cath and fifteen here on Earth. It's no wonder you aren't where you were at a few years ago." Kara said holding his neck.
  "Ahem." I said clearing my thrust. They both turned to me.
  "Hey Hayden, what's up?" Cole asked.
  "Have either of you seen or talked to Scarlett?" I asked.
  "No, why is she okay?" Kara asked with a worried look.
  "It's just she wasn't at home, and she isn't answering her cell." I said rubbing the back of my neck.
  "That's rough buddy, tell you what: we'll help you find her." Cole said.
  I smiled. "Thanks Cole." I said.
  "Sure." Cole said patting my shoulder holding his wrapped rib cage.
  "He still isn't fully healed?" I asked concerned.
  "No, Dylan did a number on him. I'm surprised he made it back." Kara said.
  "And the bottom half of his hair is green?" I asked.
  "Yeah, he said it happened because he morphed without using his morpher in Cath and used his magic while morphed. The story is he just felt himself vibrating and shaking and then out of the blue he morphed. He kicked all their butts and then blasted them back with a Nature Dragon Roar. He got on the transporter and ended up in front of my apartment building. I can't imagine Dylan was satisfied when he got away." Kara answered.
  "So did you ever get the scope on Dylan and Cole?" I asked.
  "I did, but that's his story to tell, not mine." Kara answered.
  I nodded. We went out and we all four looked for Scarlett. My phone rang. I answered because it was Scarlett. "Scar, are you okay?" I asked.
  "She's with me." Blade said.
  "Blade! Let her go!" I shouted.
  "That's fine, but I have one thing to ask in return. I'll release her, if you agree to a one on one showdown with me. To the winner Scarlett goes." Blade said.
  "You are so on." I said.
  We met inside the volcano. "Odd place to fight." Blade said.
  "Not really." I said.
  I morphed and pulled out my sword. We started fighting. He kicked my ass, but I wasn't quitting. After a few hours, I got him down and was battle damaged out of my suit. "I win, now let her go!" I shouted.
  "A deal's s deal." He said cutting her loose. She ran to me and hugged me. "But not without a little parting gift!" Blade shouted running towards Scarlett. I tossed her back and he slashed my upper body diagonally. I laid there with a huge three blade slash on my upper body glowing purple. "Have fun." Blade said vanishing.
  Scarlett ran to me and lifted my head. Her face was blurry. "Stay with me!" She said slapping my cheek.
  I smiled touching her face. She held my hand against her cheek crying. "You saved my life." She said.
  "Of course I did, it's my...job." I said coughing.
  "Don't die on me okay? Don't do it." Scarlett said crying.
  "Mmm..." I moaned. I pulled her in and kissed her lips. "I...love...you." I said and I passed out.

  Scarlett-
  I was crying on his chest. "I love you too, I love you too! Please, don't leave me." I said sobbing. Troy carried me and Cole carried Hayden.
  We got to the hideout and they laid us in the infirmary. Kara froze Hayden's slash. "That will keep the poison from spreading any further, but we need a way to get it out of his blood stream...it's killing him." Kara said.
  "How?" Troy asked.
  "I have a spell that might work, the only problem is that it takes a lot of my energy and strains my body...it could kill me." Kara said.
  "Do it, you have to save him...please Kara." I begged.
  "Scarlett, did you not hear! She could die!" Cole shouted.
  "If she doesn't do it Hayden dies!" I shouted.
  "Hayden wouldn't want her to kill herself to save him!" Cole shouted.
  "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HAYDEN WOULD WANT!" I screamed.
  "Stop, both of you! I'll do it." Kara said.
  "Kara..." Cole started.
  "I'll be fine, okay?" She said patting Cole's abdomen.
  She got into her magic stance and a hex popped under Hayden's body. "Ice Make: Ice Tube!" She shouted making a tube. Her eyes started to glow like they did when she was Killer Frost. She stared spinning her hand making a small snow flurry.
  "Kara!" I explained.
  "Don't worry, she's no longer my greatest enemy. In fact, she's my most powerful ally." Kara said in that echoey and eerie Killer Frost voice.
  The tube started sucking out the purple poison into the flurry turning it purple and Kara started shaking and crying. She started to bleed...a lot and screaming.
  "Stop, stop, stop!! That's enough!" Come shouted stopping her.
She was on her hands and knees crying blood dripping from her face. Cole wrapped his arms around her and she cried into his chest. He lifted her up and laid her on a bed she went to sleep. "Kara could have died! Do you understand that, or are you not comprehending it! I know you love him, Scar, I really do...but asking Kara to kill herself just so he could live was a low blow...even for you." Cole said.
  I gasped at what he said. He was right. I let a tear fall down my face. "I'm so sorry." I said.
  Cole sighed. "It's alright." He said comforting me.
  I cried into his chest and breathed out calming down. He smiled and left to go to Kara's bedside. He really cared for her, that was no lie. Hayden heated up and the bottom half of his hair was turning red. He opened his eyes and sat up. He looked beside him at Kara. "What happened?" He asked.
  "It looks like Kara just saved your life." Cole said.
  "Yeah, but it nearly killed her." I said.
  "She didn't need to do that." Hayden said.
  "I asked her to." I said.
  Hayden sighed, but he smiled. "BTW pal, the bottom half of your hair is red." Cole said.
  He freaked out looking at it. "How?" I asked.
  "He burnt the poison out of his body calling on his inner strength. It's his Kara's hair changed, it's how my hair changed, and now it's how Hayden's hair changed." Cole responded.
  "Wicked!" Hayden exclaimed.

  Dylan-
  I pushed a piece of rubble off of me and was bleeding. I pulled the pole that had stabbed my abdomen clean through. "That cursed brat!" I shouted punching a wall and tossing the pole into the wall. Gipsy got up and she cleaned up my wound and patched it up.
  Dojan got up and in my face. "This is all your fault!" He shouted.
  I scoffed. "My fault? MY FAULT! You are the one that called Gipsy and I in here! He got out because I wasn't back there to stop him!" I shouted.
  Dojan growled in frustration knowing I was right. "What do you think we should do?" Dojan asked me.
  Gipsy looked at me. "I say we capture all of them and torture them. And this time we keep Cole in the special place." I said.
  "You mean..." Gipsy started.
  "Yeah, as the heart of Demolisher." I said.
  "We can use him to raise our Giant and steal the source of life on this planet." Dojan said.
  "Exactly." I said.
  "You're as clever as you are pure evil." Dojan said.
  "Thanks. Demon, Blade, Reya, Gipsy...let's go." I said and we left.
