Ezra's POV

The mission: Attack Thrawn's star destroyer, steal as much information as possible about Thrawn's research of the location of our new base (which was now on Yavin 4) and blow the reactor up.

The problem: I've had visions about this mission almost every day before it started.

I know what I have to do now...

I entered the now empty reactor room and started to place Sabine's miracles all around the huge engine.

I triggered them and entered the vents once again.

I crawled to the communication room and started sending all top secret data of the empire to our fleet.

After I finished I suddenly felt something.

A warning of the force.

"Spectre 2 to Spectre 6, hurry up!", I heard Hera yelling through the comm.

My crew is now in the hangar holding the stormtroopers back and waiting for me.

I ignored my com and let me guide by the force.

It guided me trough the vents back into the reactor room.

Bucketheads! Six of them!
Deactivating the miracles!

I quickly jumped out of the vents and ignited my lightsaber.

They were stunned at first but then started to fire.

I reflected all the shots back knocking three of them out.

I used the force and push the others into the wall.

I put all the bombs back and checked everything like I did in my visions.

"KARABAST!"

My visions became true.

They broke the remote ignition.

Now the bombs can only be ignited manually.

Just then I heard a blaster trigger being pulled.

I first realized that the bolt hit me as I felt immense pain in my back.

I turned around and shot the lucky stormtrooper.

I know this was it.

The pain was indescribable big.
It felt like the burning hell.

I won't make it.
I realized as I saw black sports entering my sight.

"Spectre 6 to all Spectres. Leave! I won't
make it!", I shouted into my com.

"WHAT? But the explos...", Sabine started.

"NO BUTS, GO!", I yelled.

"Negative, we won't leave you!", Kanan said.

"Kanan, please go. I had lots of visions about this mission. If you stay now, you will all die!", I explained, "Please Kanan, go!"

"But Ezra, no..."

"It's okay, master, I've already accepted my fate", I smiled sadly, "It's just up to you now"

"Ezra..."

"Go", I said calmly.

"Fine", I heard Kanan sobbing,
"I just want to say I'm proud of you.
Not just as your master, also as your father. I love you son"

"Ezra Bridger! You are the stupidest person in this galaxy", I heard Sabine crying, "You are also the bravest and strongest boy I've ever met"

"That's why you love me", I joked sadly.

She cried even louder.
"You're right"

I smiled tearing up.

"Kid", Zeb started, "I'm gonna miss you, too, little bro"

I felt the tears streaming down my face now.

"Me either, bro", I said, "Smash some bucketheads for me, too"

"My little baby!", Hera almost screamed hysterical while crying, "I'm so proud of you my little boy. I don't wanna lose you"

"I know, mom. But I have to do this"

"We're leaving the destroyer", I heard Hera saying while still crying.

"Thank you, guys", I said.

I sensed a warning of the force and pulled immediately two blasters to me.

One dozen stormtroopers stood there.
Weapons ready.

I started firing at all the bucketheads while still speaking.

"I love you guys. You are my family. Don't be sad when I'm not with you anymore. I...I..."
I stopped when I heard static coming out of the com.

THE SIGNAL IS.. JAMMED!!

For a second i got really mad.

I pushed all my enemies back with the force.

But then I remembered.

THE RECORDS!

I just hope someone will find them someday.

I smiled sadly realizing that the time had come.

I went to Sabine's miracles, aimed... and pulled the trigger.

"I'll miss you guys... I'm sure someday we will see each other again"

These were my last words before everything went black.

Me: Finished! Sorry if it was a bit too short I just couldn't keep writing cuz I'm crying my eyes out now.

Dave! If something like that happens I swear...

Ezra: You shouldn't swear, it's a sign of...

Me: What the lothcat! Ezra?! Aren't you supposed to be dead?

Ezra: I'm a force ghost now and here to annoy you to death.

Me: Shouldn't you maybe go and see your family?

Ezra: Nah. Maybe next chapter...

Me: Ugh... may the force be with you and...

Ezra: Lothcat out!

Me: Hey! I wanted to say that!

Ezra: Deal with it!

Me: Help me!
