Chapter 38: Awareness.

2:30 P.M, Tartine Park, Seoul

"Gosh, I hope Jimin and his team are still there." said Jeongyeon.
"Yeah, I hope." said J-Hope.
*J-Hope and Jeongyeon entered Tartine Park. Fortunately for them, Jimin and his team are still there*
"Yes! They're still there! Come on Jeongyeon. Let's go!" said J-Hope.
*Jeongyeon is walking hesitantly*
"Jeongyeon.. are you hesitating??" asked J-Hope, surprised.
"J-Hope.. I'm k-kind of... scared..." stuttered Jeongyeon.
"Jeongyeon, there's no turning back. You chose this decision. Don't worry, we're all good actors. What are you afraid of?" asked J-Hope.
"I don't know if... if we will pull this off.. there's like nine of them and two of us! J-Hope, something isn't right." said Jeongyeon.
"Jeongyeon, you're overreacting and overthinking. Let's not do that and focus on our 'undercover mission'." said J-Hope.
"J-Hope... I feel like something bad is going to happen..." said Jeongyeon, aware.
"Jeongyeon, we don't have much time. Let's go!" said J-Hope.
*Jungkook sees J-Hope and Jeongyeon in the distance*
"Wait.. is that... J-Hope?! And he's with.. another girl..." said Jungkook.
"Jeongyeon!! That other girl is Jeongyeon!!" said Tzuyu.
"What are they doing here? Are they aiming for Jimin?? My boyfriend?!" asked Mina, scared.
"Nonsense, babe. I don't think that's the case. Maybe they think that we shouldn't have war? That's why they're going to us to talk about it?" assumed Jimin, positively.
"Jimin, they're on Jin's side. What the heck are you thinking right now?" said V.
"Maybe Jin sent them here?" assumed Jimin.
"Then why can't all of them come if you think it's a reunion?" said Suga.
"Hmm, you're right." admitted Jimin.
"Hang on, I think it's far worse.." said V.
"Why?!" asked Tzuyu, worried.
"They're... they're planning a surprise attack!!" said V.
"Wait, V's onto something! Maybe J-Hope and Jeongyeon will come to us and all of a sudden Jin and the others come out of nowhere and surround us! I need to stop this now!" said Jungkook.
"Wait! Babe!!" screamed Tzuyu.
"V, you try and stop Jin and the others from surrounding us. I'll handle J-Hope and Jeongyeon." said Jungkook.
"Got it." said V.
*Jungkook starts running towards J-Hope and Jeongyeon while V keeps guard*
"Hey, what do you know! Jungkook is excited to see us!" said J-Hope.
"No... look at his facial expression! He wants to fight you! He wants to fight us!! said Jeongyeon.
*Jungkook sprinted to J-Hope and threw a punch at him but missed. Jungkook tried again but tripped on J-Hope's foot that was in the way and fell down*
"Agh! Ow!!" shouted Jungkook.
"Look, I already got punched in the face. I don't want two punches in one day." said J-Hope
"What do you mean got punched again? And why are you two here?!" asked Jungkook.
*Jungkook stood up and did a fighting postion*
"Put your hands down, Jungkook. We want peace." said J-Hope.
*Jungkook was shocked, so he slowly put his hands down*
"Maybe Jimin was right. Maybe they do want peace." thought Jungkook.
"Hey! Jungkook! Hello? Are you daydreaming or something? You already have a girlfriend! Her name is Tzuyu! JUNGKOOK!!" screamed J-Hope.
"Oh, sorry! I was thinking stuff. So.. you guys want peace?" asked Jungkook.
"Well, I mean... Jin still wants war, but the two of us decided that your side just might be better because, well, Jin was abusing us. Right Jeongyeon?" asked J-Hope.
"Right! Absolutely right!" said Jeongyeon.
"That's not called 'peace'. That's called 'joining the other team or side'." said Jungkook.
"You get the point, Mr. Smarty-Pants." said J-Hope.
*Jungkook rolled his eyes*
"Hm, so wait.. you're actually going to join us now?" asked Jungkook, shocked.
"Heck yeah!! We don't want Jin to abuse us!" said J-Hope.
"Yeah! Abusing.. abusing is bad!! Very b-bad!" stuttered Jeongyeon.
"Yeah! Totally bad, man." said J-Hope.
"How do I know you're not tricking us?" asked Jungkook.
"Um... well..." said J-Hope, blankly.
"Uh..." said Jeongyeon, blankly.
"Come on! Answer me!" demanded Jungkook.
"Well.. do you think we'll walk all the way here just to say 'haha I tricked you'?" asked J-Hope.
"N-no... that's kind of.. stupid..." said Jungkook.
"Exactly! Come on, Jungkook. You know us better than this." said J-Hope.
"Hmm, I guess... okay okay, fine. I trust you guys. Let me bring you to Jimin and the others to tell them the news." said Jungkook.
"Okay, thank you." said J-Hope.
"Wow, nice job there." whispered Jeongyeon.
"Haha! Gotta learn from me, Jeongyeon. Gotta learn from me." whispered J-Hope.
"Oh, be quiet." whispered Jeongyeon.
*Jungkook walked J-Hope and Jeongyeon to Jimin and the others*
"Well, well. What have we got here." said V.
"Two of Jin's members have been caught!" claimed Suga.
"No, no. You guys are completely wrong. They are actually joining our side now since Jin has been abusing them and his other members." explained Jungkook.
"How do we know they're not.. you know.. tricking us??" asked Suga.
"Well, I mean, they wouldn't walk here just to say 'haha, I tricked you', right?" said Jungkook.
"True, true." said V.
"Hmm.. it still feels a little.. suspicious." said Suga.
"Oh, come on Suga. Give them a chance! They've been abused by Jin." said Jihyo.
"Yeah. I kind of feel bad for that. Jin's other members must've thought 'if I join Jimin, then Jin will think I'm a weakling'." said Nayeon.
"No, I agree with Suga. It does still feel a little suspicious... especially since they joined the guy who wanted to beat Jimin up!" said Chaeyoung.
"Chaeyoung! That's over!" said Jihyo.
"It still happened!" said Chaeyoung.
"Guys! Let's not argue! Let's just give them a chance and see what will happen." said Mina.
"Hmm.. fine." said Chaeyoung.
"We're still keeping an eye on them though." said Suga.
"Every move!" said V.
"Babe, what do you think of this?" asked Mina.
"Let's give them a chance, as you exactly said." smiled Jimin.
"Aww, babe.." blushed Mina.
"Yeah, I think they've changed. I think they want to be on our side now." said Tzuyu.
*Jimin finally approved J-Hope and Jeongyeon to be on his side*
"Thank you for letting us join you guys! We will try our best to defend you guys!" said J-Hope.
"No, thank you for joining us!" said Jimin.
"Ha! They actually felt for it? Fools. Jin was right. Jimin is such a fool." thought J-Hope.
"Ha! Fools. Jin was right. They would believe anything!" thought Jeongyeon.
*Jimin's team went their separate ways to their own home*
