"Snort Xanax in one nostril and Adderal in other nostril and let god sort out the rest."
"That's a horrible idea," Neji chid to Ino, Sakura stared at her in concern. Ino shrugged, downing another shot of fireball and winking at the pinkette. Hinata and Naruto both snickered at their friends, Hinata timidly sipping from her Hawaii Five-O as Naruto sipped a drink that Ino had made him. In all honesty, it tasted disgusting but it left him with a pleasant buzz that made him sling his arm around the Hyūga girl as they leaned against the bar, the fur on her shoulders tickling his skin through he fishnet sleeves he wore.
"Sakura! Let's go dance!" Ino exclaimed, already slightly drunk. Sakura sighed, looking at Naruto in concern. Naruto gave her a reassuring smile, he'd be okay. Ever since he went missing for a day and a half; Sakura and the rest of their friends seemed to be especially worried about him. It was even worse than when they found out that his doctor was prescribing him antidepressants when they were fourteen. Sakura turned her sea foam green eyes to the oldest of their small group.
"Make sure he's okay," She said, Neji nodding in response as he took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and lighting one. Neji only liked coming to these 'outings' to watch out for Hinata, or so he said. Ino lived for going out, Sakura was attached to her hip and Hinata liked going because usually Naruto went with them. Other than that, Hinata usually didn't go. Tenten also usually came along but she had work this week. There usually wasn't a reason Naruto went out with the girls other than wanting to have fun with his friends but some nights there was. Tonight happened to be one of those nights.
Naruto's anxiety was especially high since... Since Sasuke. Shikamaru and Neji had even been offering him weed and cigarettes to get him to 'chill out'. To which he declined, usually. Occasionally he would accept their offer and Kiba would say something like; 'He wants mental chillness but he has mental illness.' To which their friends would laugh at and Naruto would fondly roll his eyes.
Well, okay, yeah, he would have to confront his lifelong problem (Sasuke) eventually but right now he just needed to get his shit together and chill out, as Shikamaru wouldsay. Naruto concluded that he needed a short term distraction.
And lucky him. His 'short term distraction' was right at the tip of his fingers, literally, in a silk lavender dress and expensive faux fur. Sakura had told him that Hinata was into him, pointed out the obvious and explained it to him. He got it and he was going to act on it, tonight. He knew it was a bad thing to do to a girl like Hinata but he didn't care. Must've been the new soul in his chest.
"You look really nice tonight, Hina," He smiled his usual kind smile, she liked him for him so there was no point in being anyone other than him. He barely noticed her cheeks flush under the neon lights.
