Devious POV

[Thunder crash]

"Why does it have to rain right now..." i whispered to myself. "Hey Devi.." A voice said, followed by a hand on both of my shoulders. "GAH!!" I screamed, and turn my body towards it. "Whoa, sorry Dev.. should've come from the front instead of the back." Flare said with alittle smirk on his face. "Wh- what??" I said in panic. "Hey, i wanna ask you something here.." he said and kneeled down. "Um, sure. What is it?" I asked him. "Is Dice, just a friend to you?" He asked me. "Wh-what do you mean??" I said, blushing. "Well, you were always afraid of thunders and when you two fought Zapdos, you weren't. And Zapdos is a Thunder-type." He explained. "H-how should i know! I dont know!!" I yelled.

[Thunder crashed]

"GAH!!" I screamed and covered my head. "Devious? You okay?" Dice asked. I turn to look. "Y-yes... im f-fine.." i stuttered. Flare turn his head towards Dice and started talking. "Your still up?" "Yeah, i heard Devious yelled, so i came to see whats going on." Dice replied.

Flare POV

"Well, he's still afraid of thunders, as always." I said. "NO IM NOT!!" Devious yelled at me. "Devious, stop." Dice said. He didn't listen to what Dice said. "Im just sayin', no biggy." I replied and starts to walk away. "Where do you think you're goin?!" Devious screamed. "Devious!" Dice yelled and hold him from getting near to me.

[Fire ball]

I wiped my mouth with my wrist. "Don't be rude in someone else's house, Devi. I could let you sleep outside y'know." I replied. "Devious... c'mon. Lets get to sleep." Dice said. "Fine, see ya later, Flare." Devious said and starts to walk.

Dice POV

'What's going on with them. I mean they are best friends, right?' I said in my head. "Hey, Flare. We'll see you tomorrow, ok?" I said to him. "Sure, Good night Dice." He replied and walked into his room.

-Timeskip, in the room with Devious-

"I don't get it.. why are you two fighting? You're already afraid of thunders, why hide it?" I ask Devious. "*sigh* I don't know..." he said and lowered his head. "I heard some of your conversations with Flare. Am i really just a friend to you?" I asked. He went silent and starts to blush. "Please dont hate me.." he replied. "Hate you? Why??" I asked, clueless. "You're... more than a...friend, to me.." he said and blushed deeply. "wh-whatd'ya mean?" I said, nervously. "Dice, i really like you." "I like you too, Devious. Your my first, true friend." I said, covering what i was really going to say. "I don't mean that type of like.. i mean i like you, as a mate." He said and put his paws on my shoulders. 'WHAT?!?!?!?' I yelled in my head. "You, look, shocked.." he said and backed away from me. '[SYSTEM MALFUNCTION]' "You must be angry at me, because of this.." he said and starts to cry. "Wh- what?? No, no. Truth is, i like you the same way... i was just afraid that you won't be here by my side if i told you.." i told him and gave him a kiss.
