Where am i?

"So you're awake now, huh. Whats your name."

Dice POV

"Wh-huh?" I spoke, trying to figure out where i am. As i sat up on the bed i was in, I then focused my sight to a midnight lycanroc sitting beside me. "You okay?" He asked me. Still confused on what happened, i just slowly nodded to his question. "Hey uh, thanks for.. saving my life back there, really owe you big time." He continued. "What do you mean?" I replied, still confused. "Hmm?" He looked at me. "Weren't you're the one who pushed me back at the poke'mart?" He asked me to recall. "Poke'mar- oh yeah!! Wait where's Devious!" I bounced off the bed as i looked all over for him.

"Devious? I don't know who that is. Is he a friend of yours?" He asked me. "Uhm yeah, we.. must've got separated when Zapdos attacked us." I told him. "Now that you mention it, i didn't see any trace of Dev'lin either." He said as he rubbed his snout. "Dev'lin, Devili- oh Deviling? You mean that red lucario with horns?" I suddenly recalled. "Yeah, wait you know him?" He asked me as he grabbed one of my arm. "Not exactly, but i did save him from potentially being burnt to death." I replied. He then suddenly gave me a really big squeeze. "THANK YOUUU!!" he yelled with joy.

"I can't thank you enough for your help." He continued and let me go, eventually.. "Eheh, it- its fine.." I replied as i stepped back a little.

"Hey, i didn't really get your name, whats your name?"

"Its, Dice." I replied. "Well im Shrine. Nice to meet you." He greeted me.

-Meanwhile-

Deviling POV

I woke up on an unfamiliar bed, having some bandages wrapped around my body. Looks like that fire really stings this time..

Wait, where.. am i?

"Oh good you're awake." A voice spoke. Soon came in a zoroark with a bowl of soup in his hands. "I was worried that you wouldn't wake up again." He continued as he placed the bowl beside me. He then sat beside me. "So, i've never seen a lucario like you before, what's your name?" He asked, calmly. I stayed silent for a while; "Dev-- lin.." i tried to speak. My throat was somehow dry. "Eh, do you need some water? Hold on." He then went out the door and soon came back with a glass of water. "Here, drink up." He offered. I soon took it and instantly drank it. I let out a few cough in the process. "Heheh, slow down.." he told me. Soon the glass was empty, i tried to re-told him my name. "My name- is Deviling." I spoke. "Oh, nice to meet you, im Devious." He introduced himself.

"Hey uh, Devious? Where exactly am i.." i asked him. "Well.., you're at my mate's home. I brought you here after the incident at the mart." He explained. "Where's, Shrine?" I asked him. "Shh-rine? Who's that?" He replied. "A lycanroc, midnight form. Have you seen him?" I asked him. He just shook his head. I felt sad as i sat beside him. "I saw you, with Dice.. the lucario that pulled you out of that wreck. Did you see where he went?" He asked me.
"The last thing I remembered was that he went to help Shrine fought of Zapdos." I told him, rubbing the back of my hand. He then looked at me in shock, eyes widened. "What?" I asked him. "We gotta kill that f**king bastard." Devious said with rage in his eyes.

Alright, new update today. Gotta say, it was really hard to figure out on this chapter, i made a bunch but all was so... useless..

Not only that, i was also frustrated on how my other book (tales of discords[taken down for now] ) was going.. really didnt have any ideas on what-so-ever. So here ya go, hope ya enjoy this part. Cya!!
