Return (part 2)

-Back at Dice house-

Dice POV

I sat on my couch, playing with the crystal Flare just gave me. "Your friend was nice." I said to him. "Hm? Y- yeah.." he replied and went silent. He went outside and sat on a branch. I got up, followed and sat beside him.
"Something wrong?" I asked him. He sighed, "No, I- its nothing actually.." he said and smiled. I know it was fake 'cus it vanished sooner than it came. "Devious.. are you okay?" I asked and hugged him from the back. He smiled and let out a chuckle. "Heh, its nothing really. I just, missed seeing Flare again." He explained. "Why didn't you see him earlier?" I asked and sat beside him. "Well as i told you earlier.. we got into a fight. And everything went the wrong way afterwards." He continued and stood up. He helped me up and we both went back inside the house.

-The next day-

Devious POV

The warm beam of sunlight struck my face. Guess i'd better get up now.. I let out a loud yawn as i stretched my arms out. "Sorry Dice.." I said and placed my arm on his side of the bed. But something's not right. "Dice?" I said and looked with my half-awoken eyes, he wasn't there. I ran out the room and shouted his name. "Dev, whats wrong?" He said as he walked back into his home. "Wh- oh uh, nothing.. just, worried.." I stammered. He let out a giggle and called me to walk towards him. "Where are we going?" I asked and climbed down the house. "Well.... we're goin to... the city!!" He shouted as he took hold of my right arm. "WHAT?! Seriously??" I said in shocked. "You... look shocked..." he said and lowered his head. "No im, well yes, but, that place is filled with trainers. Those creeps are jerks and would do anything to get our kind's by their side." I explained. "Hmm, true..." he replied and let me go. "Then we go to the Poke' bazaar then!!" He said and lighten up. 'Now that city sound even better than the bazaar... Atleast he looked alot more cheerfull than before.'

After a few hour walk, we reached the bazaar. As always, its filled with 'mons. Good news, there's no trainers here. Bad news? I still owe these 'mons crystals.. Yes, this bazaar uses only crystals as money, which are the reasons their goods are so, well good. "Hey uh, Dice?" I said and stopped at the enterance. "Is it fine if you just head in and i stay here?" I continued. "Why? Something wrong?" He asked me with a puzzled face. "No its just, i dont want to go there, thats all." I said quietly. "Nonesense, come on! Im bringing us to have lunch together." He said and pushed me in. " "lunch"? What happened to breakfast?" I asked and starts to walk on my own. "We've passed that one, so we're going straight to lunch." He replied and hugged my waist.
