Kacey, her name was Kacey. She lived in a world that whenever you turned 16 you would get a tattoo on your wrist. The tattoo would be a circle with a hair color in it. That tattoo is a symbol of your soulmates' hair color. At first her tattoo was brown/blonde, then it changed. She had been confused as to why it changed and kept staring at it while it slowly changed. It was a milky chocolate color, then a dark chocolate color, then a dark blue, almost black, then a slight peacock color (black with blue streaks). A dirty blonde, green, fading fire, bright red, brunette ash, purple, golden blonde, bleached white, purple haze, white with black in the middle, hot pink, blush and blue steel. Friends and other people in her school made fun of her because of how many times it changed. They said she would never find her soulmate if it kept changing. She was confused as to why it was changing so much not realizing that her soulmate always dyes his hair. She thought her tattoo was faulty, so she went to the Love Council who was in charge of "assigning" your soulmate. They told her that her soulmate always dyes his hair. She never really thought that mayber he could just be dying his hair. So she just left it be. It would still change every so often, until one day it turned a slight bleached blonde color, and hadn't changed for a while. Kacey never really understood the point of the tattoos, she thought it was stupid for some council to pick out their so-called "soulmate", but she did see how happy people were once they had found their soulmates. She had never been that happy before. She wanted to find her soulmate so she knew what real happiness was. She was really only half happy whenever she was around her friends. They never realized how truly unhappy she was. When she was alone, she would think and she would wonder: what if i never find my soulmate? what if i'm not his soulmate? Those were some of her many late thoughts and wonders about her so-called "soulmate". She always thought that what if she wasn't her soulmates soulmate? She always worried about not meeting him. She thinks that she won't meet him and that she is going to be alone forever. She couldn't  help but think like that. She always overthinks during the night, those being one of the man, many thoughts.
