hayeon got off the bike and looked up at the building that loomed over them.

'cello there'

"a music studio?" hayeon said, a smirk slowly forming on her face after looking at the pun.

"i want to show you how good you'd be at the actual drums. i haven't been able to forget how good you were." donghan said, taking her hand and pulling her along with him into the building.

he nodded at some guys who were standing and talking near the doorway and led her to the elevator.

"so, you come here often?" hayeon asked as the lift doors dinged close and they began to go up 3 floors.

"often enough. i haven't told you this yet but im actually a dancer." donghan said, glancing at her momentarily before looking away.

"no wonder you have such.. uh manly thighs." hayeon said, her cheeks turning red.

in classic shy donghan fashion, his cheeks turned redder and he physically turned his body away from her to hide his flaming cheeks.

the elevator dinged again and the doors opened, hayeon stepped out into the hallway and donghan followed her, still not looking at her properly.

"um follow me. and i swear you better not be looking at my thighs again." donghan mumbled as he walked towards one of the doors and pushed it open.

turning on the lights, he revealed a drum set in the corner. there were mirrors along the walls as well.

hayeon looked around the room in awe. donghan gestured towards the drums and pulled some drumsticks out from the pouch where they were kept next to the drums.

"come here." he sat down at the drums as she bounded up to stand beside him.

donghan began to drum a simple beat which quickly escalated to full scale drumming. this made hayeon wonder why donghan would even be impressed with her drumming if he was this good.

"woah, you're amazing!" hayeon clapped her hands after he stopped his extravagant performance.

donghan grinned and lifted his arms to dab. donghan being donghan, forgot that he was still holding the drumsticks and ended up whacking hayeon with them.

she fell to her knees with a yelp, clutching her head.

"oh my god. are you okay?" donghan gasped, throwing the drumsticks aside, kneeling down beside her and removing her hands from her red forehead.

"yes, donghan. very okay." she said, gritting her teeth.

donghan put his arms around her and pulled her close to him so that her face was against his chest.

"... this feels better." she said after a while of silence from both sides.

donghan sighed in relief and was about to let go of her. it was then that hayeon placed a hand slightly on his side to stop him.

"wait, let's just stay like this for a while."
