donghan: hi

donghan: are you up?

donghan: i know its 2am

donghan: but i cant sleep

donghan: its raining and uh

donghan: im scared

donghan: of the thunder : (

donghan: hayeon?

hayeon stirred and turned over on her bed, taking her vibrating phone in her hands. hayeon eye widened as she read the messages.

a few seconds later, donghan's phone began to ring in his hands.

"hello?" he answered, his heart immediately calming down as he saw her name popping up on his phone.

"donghan, i called as soon as i saw your messages. i can stay up with you if you want." hayeon answered.

"i- really. thank you." donghan said, falling silent again.

"hm, let me tell you about the time yongguk performed at out school talent show. he was such a shy kid but he ended up winning cause he has the best voice!" hayeon tried talking to calm him down.

the time flew by and the next time hayeon's eyes landed on the clock, she was shocked to see that it was nearly 6am.

"donghan, did you know its 7?" she asked, a while later.

"what? wow. im so thankful to you right now." he said.

"im meeting yongguk later, want to come too? though we need sleep. let's sleep for a while, i'll be meeting him for lunch. i'll text you my address to come round later." hayeon said.

"okay, thank you for today." donghan said.

when donghan and hayeon arrived at yongguk's house, he opened the door.

"you guys look like shit." he said as soon as he opened the door and looked at the two peoples eyebags.

"we stayed up all night." donghan said, yawning slightly.

yongguk's mouth fell open.

"doing what? you guys work fast!"

"nothing!" both donghan and hayeon shouted at the same time.
