"do you want to, maybe play with me a little?" donghan asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

his eyes widened in shock when he realised what he had just said. he shook his head as well as his hands violently trying to correct what had just happened.

"er what i mean is, would it be okay if i accompanied you and played at some of the machines?" donghan said, still visibly awkward.

"i'd like that!" hayeon said holding back a laugh. she glanced at yongguk who was watching from a slight distance away like a stalker. she shot him a look and turned back to donghan with a smile.

"you've probably had enough of the drum game, judging by how amazing you are at it." donghan mused, tilting his head to one side.

"you're complimenting me too much." hayeon covered her face with her hands, wondering if she saved a country in her previous life to get this attention from such a cute boy out of nowhere.

"you deserve it though, the complinents." donghan replied, looking right at her. he looked away within a few seconds and started to walk toward the basketball game that she and yongguk were just standing at.

"do you want to try this?" donghan took out some tokens from his pocket and looked back at her.

"sure, it'll be easy for you since you're so tall." hayeon commented while donghan put the tokens into the machine.

"i can help you with that." donghan said, a small smile on his face.

the sound effects from the machine started up and hayeon reached for one of the basketballs.

before she knew it, she felt two hands on her own. donghan.

he helped her shoot the ball right into the net. she looked back at him and grinned for a moment.

then, he let go of her and began to dunk the basketballs as well.

all while hayeon stood there dazed, eyes locked on the cute guy in the orange sweater before her.
