Chapter 5

After what felt like hours sitting in class, the recess bell finally rang. The students stood up and bowed to their teacher. Kaoru stretched and said, "Finally, recess!" Kai smirked at the raven haired girl. "Aw~ Is Kao-chan hungry? Do you want me to feed you later?" The girl only glared.

"Wha- Leave me alone, bastard!"

"Aw~ Kao-chan. You hurt my feelings." Said the second eldest Sazaki brother as he wiped away a fake tear. Kaoru only rolled her eyes. "Well, good. Atleast that'll get you to stay away from me." She said as she starts to walk away towards her friends. Kai didn't stopped. "Aw~ C'mon Kao-chan! Why so grumpy?" "Ugh! For fu-"

"Kai. Stop annoying her." Ikuto interrupted before Kaoru could even curse. He walked towards the two along with the youngest Sazaki brother; Mikoto. Momoko and Miyako saw the small group of theirs and walked towards them too. "I don't want to stay in the hospital looking at your limping body because you got ass kicked by a girl." Ikuto continued. Kai gave his brother a look while the others started laughing.

"Hey, I'm not going to get my ass kicked by some girl."

"What did you say,asshole?" Kaoru glared at Kai which the boy only gave a smirk at her. "You heard me, sweet Kao-chan~"

"Oh. I am sooooo going to kick your ass in soccer later."

"Heh. Bring it on."

While the two raven heads stared competitively at each other, the pair of blondes and red heads just sweatdropped at the both of them. Mikoto looks at Miyako and he gave her his sweetest smile. "Miyako, let's have lunch together!" He said while looking at the girl with hopeful eyes. Miyako looked back and just giggled slightly at how cute the boy was having this childish like attitude. "Sure. We can eat with you guys. Right Momoko?" The blonde pigtailed girl looks at her friend. Momoko just gave a smile and nods. "Yeah. The more the merrier right?"

She gave Ikuto a smile which she earned a poker faced blush from him. "Uh..yeah." The red haired boy looks away while lowering his cap to his eyes. Kaoru then looks at her friends. "Ehhhh?! We're going to eat with them? Well...I don't mind these two but can we ignore this guy?" She asked while she pointed towards Kai.

"Yeah. Sure. He's a pain in the ass anyways." Ikuto said.

"What? No I'm not!" Kai denied. Then everyone else just laughed.

The group of six walked towards the cafeteria. As they all arrived, the cafeteria was crowded with students eating and buying their lunches. Kaoru groaned. "Ugh! This is going to take forever." Miyako just smiled at her best friend. "Well, it can't be helped though." Kaoru saw a vending machine and points at it. "Well, I'm just going to buy from that. Anyone want anything?" She asked as she looks towards the group.

"Ah...Can you help buy me a soda, please?" Ikuto said.

Mikoto raised his arm. "Oh oh! Chips and coke for me."

Miyako smiled and said, "Buy me soy milk."

"Hm...Strawberry milk for me." Momoko said.

"I'll come with you." Kai offered. Kaoru just stares at him. "You don't have to. I can handle." Kai pouted. "Oh c'mon. I want to." Kaoru just gave him a poker face. Later, everyone gave their money to Kaoru. Both raven heads then walked away.

"...Is it okay to let them both go?" Miyako asked.

"...Now that you ask that, I have my doubts letting them alone." Ikuto said.

"Well, let's just hope nothing happens though." Momoko said.

"But what if something did happen? Like a Kai shaped hole in the wall?" Mikoto interrupted.

The teens just looked at Mikoto as if he was crazy. "What? It could happen." The blonde boy said.

Momoko sighed. "Let's hope that also does not happen at all."

"I agree." Ikuto nodded in agreement with the red haired girl.

Miyako then said, "Hey, I'm going to go buy some food. Want anything you two?" Momoko looks at her and said, "If there's strawberry cheesecake, I'll have that. If not the chocolate moist cake~" Ikuto chuckled. "Well, someone's having a sweet tooth." The red bowed girl blush. "W-well, I just like sweets. That's all." "Well, luckily I like sweets too." Momoko looks at the boy and smiled. "Wow! I guess we do have something in common."

"You want anything bro?" Mikoto asked his brother. "Hm...Anything I guess." Mikoto nods. He looked at Miyako. "C'mon Miyako. The line's getting shorter now." Miyako nods and followed. Then, the two red heads were left.

"So uh...let's go find a table?"

"O-oh. Yea."

They both managed to find a table. As they waited, there was one thing they both thought. 'I guess this isn't so bad after all.' Unknowingly to both of them, they had small smiles forming on their faces.
