Chapter 15

The girls had got their belts and transformed. The three puffs flew all the way towards the professor's lab. As they arrived, they quickly ran inside. Professor saw them.

"Girls! I'm glad you came!" He said while Ken looks at them and smiled while hugging the three girls. The girls giggled as the boy hugged them.

"Oh! You guys haven't come here in a while. I miss you." He said and Poochi run towards them also. "Wan! Me too!" 

"We miss you too, Ken. Poochi." said Bubbles.

The professor smiled at the sight and then his face turned back to serious. "I'm glad you three came back. But right now, we have important matters at hand." Ken quickly looks at the girls and said in a serious tone also, "Yes. Poochi had just smelled a black aura earlier."

"Yes! And it's a really strong aura!" said the yellow dog.

Blossom looks at them. "It's the RowdyRuff Boys. They suddenly caused trouble at school. But somethings up."

The professor looks at them curiously. "What're the boys doing at your school?" Buttercup scratched her head. "It's a pretty long story. But right now, they caused some damaged at school earlier and flew off into town." Bubbles nods and looks at the Professor.

"We were hoping if you could track them down for us, Professor."

The Professor nods and looked at all the screens; in hopes to find if there are any signs where the boys might be. Bubbles looked down to the floor. She had a sad expression. Blossom saw this. She looks at her best friend.

"Is something bothering you, Bubbles?"

The blue puff looks up at Blossom and faked a smiled. "I-It's nothing Blossom. I-it's just...Earlier...when I looked into Boomer's eyes, it's like he doesn't know me anymore. It was so cold and cloudy... T-that's not Boomer. I'm sure of it!" The green puff looks at Bubbles.

"How could you be so sure Bubbles? These are the RowdyRuff Boys we're talking about. For all we know, if you trust them, they'll might turn their backs on us! And I nearly trusted one of them!" 

The raven haired had an angry look. She looks away as she remembered what Butch had said to her before the boys caused chaos at school.

The raven haired dragged the male out of class by pulling his arm. "Hey, where we going?" The female didn't answer him and kept dragging him until they get to the empty halls. She turned to face the male who was slightly taller than her. She looks up at him. 

"Don't ever tell them what we did that day, got it?"

The raven haired male blinks and looks at her. "Why? It's not like we did anything wrong."

"I-I know but...it's just..." the girl blushed and looks away slightly. "It's just embarrassing okay? I mean, we're not even a couple and I don't like you that way, okay?" She looks back at the male and flinched slightly when the male was looking at her with a serious expression. 

"W-what?"

"Nothing. Hey. Can I tell you something?" The male puts his hands in his pocket and looks at her. His posture was calm and cool. He looks at her in the eyes which made the girl uneasy.

"U-um...S-sure. Spill i-"

"I like you."

The girl flinched again and looks at him. 

"W-what?"

"No. I love you. Since that day at the carnival. You're different. Beyond amazing. You're nothing like the other girls I've met. You never act weak and it makes me want to be protective of you. When you smiled that day, it pulled the strings to my heart. Made me want to fight for you even if you can stand on your own."
