Chapter 17

Lab [3:50 p.m.]

The girls were in their rooms at the professor's lab. Since the lab was big, the professor prepared rooms for the girls. The girls' wounds were already treated and they were all resting in their own rooms; still not awake. The boys transformed back into their normal self's. They were all with the girls. Waiting for them to wake up. Mikoto with Miyako, Kai with Kaoru and Ikuto with Momoko. All were feeling guilty of what they have done towards the girls.

In Momoko's room,  Ikuto was sitting beside her bed. Staring at her hoping she would wake up any minute. He stared at her; his eyes showed longing to hold her in an embrace after she wakes up. Unconsciously, he held her hand tightly in his.

'Please...wake up...' he thought.  

He heard a groan and he quickly look up to see that the red headed girl had squirmed a bit and woke up. He couldn't his his joy and smiled at her. "Blossom!" The mentioned girl looks at Brick and widen her eyes. 

"Y-you know?..." she asked.

The male just nods. "You girls transformed back when you girls fainted." He explained. His smile then turned into a frown. He held her hand in his hands and looked down. "I-I'm sorry, Blossom. I-I didn't mean it. I swear! I...I..." The boy's eyes were pricking with tears but a hand caress his cheek. He looks up and saw Momoko smiling at him while wiping away a tear from his eye. 

"It's fine. We know you didn't do it. And call me Momoko, alright? Blossom is my hero name." She continued to smile at him reassuringly that she was fine. The red cap boy could only smile back. Then the girl's expression turned into a worried one and he shoulders were tensed.

"W-wait...what about Him? Is he-"

"We defeated Him."

"What?"

"My brothers and I managed to defeat Him. Don't worry now, okay?"

Momoko's shoulders relaxed and she sighed in relief. She looks at Ikuto and smiled. "Thanks." The male raised a brow. "For what?" 

"For saving us." the girl replied. The male shakes his head. "No. It's nothing to be thanks about. I did what I need to do." Momoko smiled and slowly sits up and kissed Ikuto on the cheek. The male blushed. "W-what..what was that for?!" The male's face turned bright red which earned him a giggle from Momoko. "For everything, of course. You helped me a lot since the first day you came to our school." The male only looks down and used his hat to cover his blushing face.

The female snickered. "Why're you being shy, huh?~" She teased. Ikuto just ignored her teasing. "S-shut up will you? I'm not being shy!" The girl continued to giggle and teased him more. 

After teasing the male a lot, Ikuto snapped and kissed her on the lips to shut her up. After he breaks the kiss, Momoko just stared at him. In a daze with her face glowing  bright red. The same goes with Ikuto. 

"Y-you..." the female said. The she suddenly smacked Ikuto on the head. "OW! Hey! The heck was that for?!" 

"Y-You just stole my first kiss!"

"I thought you like me!"

"Of course I do but- mph!" The girl quickly covers her mouth with her hands. Her face was getting more red. The red cap boy blinks at her and smirked. "Oh. You do, huh?~" Slowly, he went close to her.

"I-I mean...I..uh..."

"You what?" The boy continued to lean towards the girl and their faces were inches apart. Momoko couldn't talk anymore as they were too close and she could only stare in his eyes. The boy smirked and he leaned in more for a kiss.
