Chapter 1:

Beatrice's POV: When the wind blew my hair round and feel kool air threw my skin.

''Beatrice!" Lauren called out only a feet away from me.I turn my back and see Lauren run towards me and hug me.

''Hey Lauren" with a smile. ''What are you going?" Lauren said.''Im going home to see my family and just chilling out" ''how about you and me hang out,if it's fine for you" Lauren asks me. ''Okay I will hang out with you" Lauren has a big smile on her face. ''Yay!" ''But first I have to check on my sister to make sure she is okay.

''Lets go check on your sister" and we start walking together.

While we walking going check my sister Alice,we see a boy about my sister age and he has a different skin color,not like ours. I look at Lauren and she said ''Hello,are you okay". The boy keep walking towards us,when I see the kid closer.He's cover with blood and he makes a weird sound.

I just realize he's a walker,then Lauren goes walking to the boy.''LAUREN,DON'T GO NEAR THE BOY,HE'S A WALKER!" Lauren look at the walker ''Ahhh.." ''Run Lauren!" I shouted.We are running as fast we can, when we hear the people screaming and sirens are going off.

If the sirens goes off,it means it's not good things happening

We are still running and goes to the nearest place a old-broken house.I lock the door and sitting down.

''What are we going to do Beatrice, I can't this is happening!" Lauren start to freaking out.Then it was silence between us. I open my eyes wide and I start to tearing up ''My family!"

''I need my sister out that house and I know someone who help us". ''You don't want to go out there Beatrice" ''There are blood out everywhere"  Lauren look at the crack window. ''I don't give a fuck,I need my little sister out of the house, I don't want her to be by herself!" screamed at Lauren.

'' Let's get your sister". We got the old house and start running. Soon  I got into my house,then I saw my mom all bloody and her neck bite off,but she was still alive but almost dead.

I came to the floor and layed next to her,holding her hand tight.

''Mom,stay with me,you going to be alright. ''Beatrice...I can't...Just be you are a strong, beautiful girl...Take care of your sister for...me...I love... You...." she stops breathing.

I start to cry and Lauren hugged me to next to her.She haves a knife in her hand.

''There,you have to do this or she became one of them". I hold the knife and hold my mother's dead head,then splash of my mom's blood on my face. Im still crying even worst.''I know she still here".

I wiped the tears and blood on my face.We went upstairs,I go to Alice's room,but it was locked ''Alice,it's me Beatrice".Then Alice opened the door crying her eyes out,I hug her.''Is mommy dead?" ''Yes,she's dead and she say she loves you and me".''Im going to pack stuff for us".

Me,Lauren and Alice are walking to the Street. ''Now,we have to find my mom's friend Rick".Lauren stopped walking and looks at me ''Grimes?".''yea, he's the one I'm going to". ''Umm... did you hear the news?".''You know I don't watch the news that much!" ''He got shot and he is in comma".

''fuck!" '' Watch your mouth Beatrice!" Alice said. ''He was a close friend from my family". ''Im sorry to say that,I just want you to know that". She hug me and my sister Alice.

We hear some walkers near by. we start to walking again down the street. I remember the great me and my mother had,I remembered me and my sister make my mom happy when age was sad,but its all gone now then I stop walking and I see a flower from the ground.It was a rose.This flower named after my mother.

It makes me I'm part of her,I smile and take the rose with me.I got part of her,the part of her I never had.
