❝ Time stands still
Beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything, take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath, every hour has come to this ❞A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

“Come on Rayne," Carmen was on the edge of her seat as she looked on the playoff game; Green Bay Packers vs Dallas Cowboys. The NFL Divisional Round. The Packers definitely were gaining up to Dallas making Carmen nervous. If it wasn't the Packers, she wouldn't be so nervous, but they had Aaron freaking Rodgers, the guy who's been have the most fourth quarter comebacks this year besides Derek Carr, with no weapons besides Jordy Nelson, who's playing with fracture ribs for Christ sake.
On the edge of her seat, the former wrestler nibbled down on her nails seeing it was third down and forever it seemed like for the Cowboys.
Rayne had the ball in his hands, searching the field for an open player before he threw it to Dez Bryant, who couldn't hold onto it.
Reality sank in the many players and fans hearts knowing that it was all up to Dallas's defense, who isn't known for being that very good.
It didnt take long for Mr. Rodgers to march up the field, and Carmen was praying that they wouldn't get to field goal range.
It was third down and twenty for the Packers, and they were going for it, all in. Rolling out to his left, number twelve booked it for the line of scrimmage and with a flick of his wrist, a bullet instantly to number 89, Jared Cook.
Some relief ran through her when the first ref signalled it was out of bounds, but it was the second one that made her heart race like no other.
When it was confirmed a catch with the drag of the toes, all there was about three seconds. Every player and cowboy fan were hoping that they'd miss the field goal.
Just before Mason Crosby made the first field goal, there was a cowboys timeout called, and Crosby had made it so good call. Setting up to re kick, everyone hoped that icing them with the timeout.
With the whistle blew, Crosby stepped up and kicked it, and just when you thought it was going to barely miss the post, or bouce off the post, it somehow curved in. Breaking manta hearts in the Dallas stadium.
Final score, 34-31 Packers.
Just how the April before, she had performed in this very stadium at Wrestlemania, and just like that, her dreams crushed. She felt for her husband at that moment.
Exiting the booth with the other wives and families, she waited In the hobby area, see the players come to meet their familes and leave with their heads down, not believing that even with the number one seed in the NFC, they still lost.
Checking the time, she read 9:30 with a soft sigh. The post game conference most be running late, she thought growing a bit hungry. To waste sometime, she got on Facebook seeing that this game was what everyone was talking about.
And they were not holding back on their thoughts. Calling the Cowboys chokers, and badmouthing her husband.
She had a really bad feeling that Rayne was taking this loss hard.About fifteen minutes later, the Dallas Quarterback entered the lobby seeing his wife curled up to the displayed couch, her head resting on her arm. Despite how things went an hour ago on the fooball field, she looked so adorable making the corner of his lips tug for a moment before waking her.
