❝ I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby can you see through the tears?
Love you more, than those bitches before
Say you'll remember, say you'll remember,
Baby oh
I will love you 'til the end of time ❞Requiem for Blue Jeans by Bastille

The sound of a something crashing woke up Carmen the best morning making her eyes shoot up realizing she wasn't in her hotel room. She pushed herself up moving her feet to the side of the bed rubbing her eyes with the back her hand.
Pulling her shirt over her pregnant belly, she set her clothed feet on the hard floor slowly getting to her feet. Concerned what fell, she didn't even bother to think of where Dak was.
Waddling herself down the hallway, she slid her glasses on not wanting to deal with her stupid contacts. Setting her right hand on the small of her back for support, she groaned at the familar pain there as her frustration of her feet swelling up. Passing something bright pink, she stopped in her tracks turning to see the crib she had bought, that she hadn't touched, the pieces were scattered across the floor as the Cowboys quarterback had his back to her trying to figure out how to assemble the crib.
She stood in the doorway, peeking her head in seeing that the white and pink drawer set was assembled as the babys little swing set.
In the corner, the recliner she had been looking at online, but hadn't bought it yet because she wouldn't have room for it at the apartemnt she was gunna get.
This was all so overwhelming. It was all so emotional for her.
Why didn't he do this before?
All she wanted was him to show he was ready to move forward with this next step in their relationship and lives. It waa actually quite frustrating that he's waited until right now to do something.
‘Don't freak out, just enjoy.'
So she did, she waddled over to his side catching his attention giving him a shoulder squeeze. “Morning."
“Hey, morning." He smiled back watching her hold her belly as she sat down besides him. She could do that by herself, at nine months. Wow, she really wasn't holding her breath for him.She could do this without him.
“How'd you sleep?" He asked, his eyes flickering from her belly to her eyes.
Believe it or not “Really good actually. Haven't been able to get any decent sleep lately."
He could tell, the bags under her eyes were proof. Carmen leaned against the wall so she wouldn't hurt her back looking the nursery so far.
“You don't have to go." He said softly wanting for a snarky comment back, not saying he didn't deserve itm
