His words just kept running through my head: She can live with me.

"Well, son, I'm afraid you need your parents permission." Said officer Pete.

"I will get there permission. Come to my house and we can talk. All of us." Said Aaron. He was serious. The officers looked at each other and nodded. They could tell he was serious so they agreed and let me go. I ran over to him and gave him a hug. We all drove to Aaron's house. The officers took their car while Aaron and I drove in his car. When we got to his house, we knocked on the door. His father opened the door and his face tensed.

"Dad, I know what this looks like but trust me, it really isn't what it looks like." Said Aaron. His father must have so many things going through his head right now. He sees his son and his girlfriend being escorted back to his house by the police. That doesn't look good.

"They aren't in any type of trouble. I promise you." Officer Pete told Aaron's dad reassuringly. His face softened a little. He let the officers, Aaron, and I come in. Aarons mother came into the Living room.

"Dad, this is my girlfriend Ana. Her mother has been beating her." Aaron said while squeezing my hand a little, "She has been taken to prison and Ana would have to go to an orphanage. I wanted to know if Ana could move in with us." Aaron's parents looked at each other.

"She has been going through hell. Please guys." Aaron said pleadingly.

"I've never felt more safe and more loved until I met Aaron. He has helped me through all of this. He has been by my side through everything my mother has put me though." I said tears running down my face. I burrowed my face in Aaron's chest while he hushed me quietly. Aaron's parents looked like they felt very bad. They smiled a little and looked at each other.

"How long will it take you to get moved in?" Aaron's mother said with a grin. My eyes widened and Aaron and I hugged tightly and I started crying. But this time, it was tears of joy. We were in that position while minutes passed.

"We will leave you two alone." Said his mother while walking out of the room. The cops went too so they could sign the legal papers. Aaron and I were alone on the living room. Hugging. Then we walked outside hand-and-hand.

"I wanna take you somewhere." Aaron said and he smiled. He started to jog and pulled me along.

"Aaron! My feet hurt! Don't make me run!" I said with a little laugh.

"Then I shall carry you!" Aaron said as he picked me up bridal style. I started to laugh. Then I noticed where he was taking me. To the pavilion that we had our first kiss at. It was also where he had found out about me cutting. He sat down on the floor still holding me but in his lap now. He took my arms and gently rubbed his fingers over the scars on my wrists. I looked at him.

"You have to promise me something, Ana." Aaron said seriously.

"What is that?" I asked.

"You must promise me that you will never harm yourself again. Ever." Aaron said.

"I promise." I said with a straight face.

"If you ever feel like harming yourself or feel depressed, talk to me. I will always be here you." Aaron said with a smile.

"I don't think I will ever have any thoughts of that now that I'm with you." I said and smiled. Then he cupped my face and slowly came closer to my face. Our lips crashed together and I felt the sparks that I felt the first time we kissed. No. It felt more like fireworks, not just sparks. I smiled in the kiss and we had to take a breather and separated.

"I love you, Ana." Aaron said. I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I had a smile from ear to ear.

"I love you too, Aaron." I said. He smiled then our lips crashed together again. Now that I'm with him, I'm never going to be depressed like I was before. I didn't want this moment to end.
