Chapter Twenty Five: Meeting the Mercenaries

(Felix, Locus and Siris)

After some consideration I decided to take his offer, maybe I can learn some things in order prevent future attacks like last night. When I asked him about it he seemed happy but we quickly got to work he began teaching me alot of new things like how to work with my aim, shooting faster targets, knocking people out quickly and effectually, and as well as running faster then bullets. Soon we began to do jobs together they were easy, like being hired as guards or bounty jobs. However one day we needed help form his associates so we met Felix and Locus at an abandon gas station, from then my life only got more "interesting". "Hey Siris, What's up with kid? Did you're wife made you take him to work with you?" Asked Felix jokingly. "Shut up!" Mason snapped, "I don't want to agree with Felix but why did you bring him, Siris." "Trust me Locus, he's very capable in his abilities." With a reluctant sigh he said, "Very well, but he's your responsibility. Got it? "Now lets go." Felix then asked, "Wait, does he even have a codename?" "Uh, Siris paused awkwardly so i told them shyly, "I-I don't have a name." "Then we'll just have to make one up." Locus said, while looking up and down. Your code name is Grey." "Aw come on why can't we have someone with a normal name for once?" Felix argued angrily, do you have anything better? Siris challenged Felix was quiet for awhile when suddenly he exclaimed out loud while we were in the car, "Gabriel!" Causing Locus to swerve a bit. "What the hell!" Yelled Siris clinging to me protectively in case we crashed, "Sorry. I'm not used to him being silent for so long." Locus said as Felix argued. "Shut up and listen! I say we call him Gabriel." "He's not a dog, Felix!" Siris snapped angrily. "Enough! Locus yelled annoyed then said to me, Kid pick whatever name you like better." "I um, I kind of liked Gabriel." I said quietly. "Yes! I'm starting to like this kid." At that moment Siris and lucos rolled their eyes once we made it to the location we got ready, "So does everyone know the mission?" Asked Locus the which Felix answered, "Yeah yeah, we go in, get the guy, get out, get our money." Siris rolled his eyes buts asked me, "Are you sure you can handle this, Gabriel?" "Yeah, i-i'm sure." I answered him with a nod. "Okay, let's do this." I took a deep breath before following Locus and Felix inside the ware house. After we found the guy we knocked him out then Locus dragged him to the car placed his body in the trunk then we got our reward. After a few missions with Felix and Locus and I began to grow close to them and even argue with Felix when he was being an ass once I asked Locus, "Why do you put up him?" "If I don't then he'll just get himself killed." "Bite me." Felix yelled angrily. I just laughed however being with those guys taught me alot of things.
