"So she got captured, eh...?" Jack stated, lounging lazily in a large chair. "By the police?"
"I don't think so. If that was true, I'd think she'd be back by now." April chimed, laying her head down on the table. "Hmph, we were supposed to play cards tonight, too..." She muttered.
"You got anything with that weird twin telepathy thing?" Jack asked, slowly turning his head to Candy Pop.
The blue clown was too drunk to answer as he snored lightly with his head thrown back as he sat.
"Tch. Some big brother he is." April hissed. She slammed her fist on the table, "Hello, your sister's in trouble. I think it'd be great to help her out."
"Huh?!" Candy pop jumped, falling out of his chair. However, fallen on the floor, he went back to snoozing.
"Nah, he's done for the week." Jack said, waving him off.
"So are we going to do nothing? I think she'll get pretty mad at us for playing cards without her." April asked, tracing circles on the dusty wooden table.
Jack had a hand to his chin, "Hmmm, true, but I think she'd be even more pissed off if we interrupted her during a killing spree."
April let out a nostalgic sigh, "Ah.~ She and Candy Pop are so young. They go wild and reckless with their kills, it's kind of refreshing. Been a while since I've been out." She said, lifting her head to lean on her hand.
"It's boring to commit murders nowadays. The kids are all the same for me. All snot nose, spoiled rich kids who cry when their balloons are red instead of green." Jack sighed, leaning his head in his hand as he traced random patterns, scratching the wood, with his sharp claws.
"I wish the victims would give a little variety before they're getting killed. I mean, it's annoying as hell when they fight back, but they're boring when all they do is scream and cry." April added.
"Humans are so boring." Jack agreed.
April nodded, "Do monsters exist? It'd be fun trying to kill a monster."
"We are the monsters."
"Oh... Wanna try to kill each other?"
"Nah, not in the mood to get my clothes dirty."
"Awe, dang." She stretched in her chair, "Do you think Jill would be up for a fight to the death?"
"Nope. A kid's intestines clogged her chainsaw, so she's pretty frustrated right now."
"Oh, so that's why she didn't show up for the card game today." She sighed, pushing her legs on the table so she'd lean on the back two legs of her chair. "Mmmm, well, the only thing interesting today would be to try and see where Candy Cane went. Oh! And if she's mad at us, she might be more willing to fight to the death with me."
Jack snapped his fingers in epiphany, "And then the rest of us can try to gamble to see who wins."
"And then the winner gets to choose who they want to fight to the death with next." April agreed with an eager nod of her head. They high-fived each other.
"Okay, let's go find Candy Cane then." Jack said, a little skip to his step as he and April exited their private carnival.

"Shirtless! Should he be shirtless? I think she should be shirtless. He's going to be shirtless." Jess said, abusing her keyboard with strong typing.
"Oh come on, at least be a little original? Reading the same thing over and over again with different names can be taxing."
"Hmmm, true, but there's always that small detail that makes your heart swoon."
