Once there was a time 
When the skies seem gloom
But now we are in sublime
Fully surrounded by bloom 

The beauty of it all 
Is found in the fall 
Where our Lord came to restore 
And bring us back to His call 

O the wonders of our Lord
Promised in His Word
Protecting us with His Sword
Shielding us from the world

We are forever grateful 
For such a wonderful 
Absolutely amazingly powerful 
Gracious and loving Father
