Surrendered

I was once told to write on paper
Whatever that troubles me
It would then be taken to the fire
To be burnt up completely
I searched my mind
On what to surrender to the Lord
And I could not find
Anything that truly brought distraught
Truly at peace was I in the Lord
Despite all the chaos in the world
All my troubles have I conquered
By having faith in His Word
When the time came
I finally found the answer
As I searched in my heart
I wrote down "me" on the paper
Though many trials and tribulations
Have landed upon me
If there were something to change
It would have to be me
Nothing can really bother me
If I am truly abiding in the Lord
So I need to fully be
Yielded and surrendered to my Lord
