Chapter 30
Johnny roared, "Ashley! I swear if you don't open this fucking door right now, I'm gonna break it down!"
'Do it! I triple dog dare you Johnny Vincent' Ashley screamed in her head. Oh he would get it real good if he went through with his threat.
"I mean it! Open the damn door." He yelled. She had half the mind to go out there and introduce Johnny to her fist. "1, 2...3!" Before Johnny made contact with the door, Ashley opened the door. He crashed into the sink, and successfully bruised his left side.
'That's what you get.' Ashley crossed her arms angrily, her brown eyes darken in rage.
Johnny groaned in pain, "You don't wanna be messing with Johnny!"
His girlfriend was taken back, she blinked in disbelief. "I- uh I mean why do you have to be that way Ash?"
"Mmhhm.." She hummed, a brow perked. Ashley walked out of the bathroom and into Johnny's room. She sat on the edge of the couch with legs crossed. Soon after Johnny came in, much calmer than before.
"Explain this to me one more time before I go over and ring that basket case's neck."

*TWO HOURS AGO*Russell left with a big picnic basket filled with food for him and his gang. Ashley soon later baked a batch of 'I'm sorry' cookies and took them to the tenements. She parked a block away from the building. Ashley hated it, the rundown apartment complex looked like they would crumble away with just one gust of wind that happened to blow by. She sought out a handful of home investors to renew the apartments, and two emailed back, saying they would gladly take on the job.
'Can't wait for this place to be habitable and not violate health codes.' Ashley hummed happily.
"Are you okay child?" A shrilled elderly voice shouted out behind Ashley. She turned to see Miss Abby, a 70 year old elderly woman she befriended in the streets of Bullworth. Miss. Abby wore a baby blue dress and white apron with pink slippers and has white curly hair with pink curlers. Ashley noticed the older woman suffered from senile dementia and she lived in the tenements. However, the poor woman was that: poor. She had not one cent to her name (which she frequently forgets) and once, Ashley caught Miss. Abby eating dog food. After that, Ashley began to watch after her, made sure she had good insurance, a roof over her head, clean clothes, fresh food, and the best doctor she could find.
Ashley waved and smiled at her older friend. "Did you know that my grandson is going to be boxing in the big match! I wish he wouldn't, it's so dangerous!"
The younger girl simply grabbed her older friend's arm and gently led her to the apartments. All the rooms are rundown and poorly kept, but Ashley managed to find one better than the rest and pay for Miss. Abby's rent. The elderly woman refused to live in Ashley's mansion, she had a panic attack in the new environment. She kicked and screamed for her 'kidnappers' to let her go.
"Did you know Emily Smith and I go way back? Her son Gary used to play with my grandson all the time." That was the first time Ashley had heard her say anything about Gary. "Of course that sad woman became cruel and cold. Hated her mean old guts and that Gary fellow? Grew up to be just like her."
Usually Miss Abby would brag about her multiple grandchildren that happen to all attend Bullworth Academy, she even claimed Jimmy was her long lost grandson. But nothing was ever muttered about Gary Smith or his family. Ashley wasn't sure she should get more information out of the old woman, but she was senile so it was most likely a delusion. "Thank you deary, I hope you will come and visit again!" Miss Abby shuffled up the steps of the complex and into the building. Ashley was about to enter herself when she heard someone yelling by the side of the tenements.
