10 weeks

It's been about a week, and Clarke still hasn't forgiven him. In fact, she sent him with Pike to go up to Mount Weather. She claims it was so one of them would be overseeing the work, but in reality it was so she didn't have to worry about running into him. So far, for the past four days it had worked out nicely.
   But today things change.
Clarke's just tending to small tasks when there's commotion at the front gate. Several people run up to her, frantically telling her things. She can't help but be dragged along by a panicky group of people.
She spots Sergeant Miller in the midst of the commotion, shouting to the guards to hold fire. He visibly relaxes as she's pushed forward.
   "What's happening?" She asks him.
"The grounders." He starts, pointing towards the gates. "They're asking for you."
Clarke feels goosebumps prick at her skin. "What do they want?"
"They won't say. They just keep demanding to see you."
Clarke sighs. "Show me."
He nods, shouting orders at people to back up. The growing crowd continues to nervously chatter, barely anyone moving out of the way.
"Everybody get back to work!" Clarke shouts over the chatter, trying to mask her nerves with frustration.
People stand still for a couple seconds, before finally moving with a grumble. Sergeant Miller sends her a smile and then leads the way closer to the gate. He helps her climb up one of the newly built watch towers, warning her of splinters. She smirks, knowing he only means well.
The guard inside steps to the side, allowing Clarke room to see out the watch-tower window.
She immediately recognizes the five grounders as Treekru, and the one in front as Indra.
"Let Indra in." She says.
Sergeant Miller opens his mouth to argue, but he quickly closes it when Clarke sends him a look.
Clarke was never the one who enforced authority; that was always Bellamy's job. But with him not here, she's had to quickly pick it up.
"Yes Clarke," He says, heading toward the ladder.
Clarke listens as he clamors down the ladder and yells to his boys to open the gate. Clarke watches Indra signal something to her group. The guard in the watch tower immediately steps forward, aiming the rifle towards the grounders.
"Back up," Clarke growls, "She's only telling them to stay."
The guard glances at her sideways, before pulling away with a grumble.
Clarke watches as Sergeant Miller speaks to her. Clarke can tell that Indra doesn't want to come inside.
She sighs, moving towards the ladder. The guard watches her as she climbs down. She pauses, glancing up at him.
"I better not see that rifle pointing out that window," she warns.
He just looks away, and Clarke rolls her eyes. She finishes climbing down the ladder.
People have re-collected at the gate, murmurs and whispers breaking as she steps forward.
"Don't you all have work to do?" She asks, agitated that they didn't get back to work like she asked.
They mumble, and slowly disperse. Clarke watches them, making sure they actually get back to work.
Finally she makes her way through the gate, stopping as she reaches Sergeant Miller.
Indra gets off her horse, nodding to Clarke.
"Hello Indra," Clarke greets, stepping forward to shake her arm.
"Hello, Wanheda. I'm sorry for causing all this commotion."
Clarke brushes it off. "What are you here for?"
Indra's eyes flutter around for a second, and Clarke glances to the tree line, suddenly nervous.
"Heda wants you." She says.
Clarke cocks an eyebrow. "After everything she'd done? Lexa expects me to come back to Polis?"
Indra nods, "She'd like to make an offer."
Clarke stares, trying not to wonder what the offer could contain.
Indra notices her reluctance. "Wanheda, I have orders to take you there immediately, wether it by compliance or force."
Clarke meets her steely brown eyes, and sees that she's completely serious. She glances back to the tree line, now understanding what's hiding in the brush that made Indra reluctant before.
She steps closer. "What exactly are you saying?"
"I'm saying that I'd rather not involve innocent lives. I'm also not sure I'd trust all my warriors. Some still find the bounty very appealing."
Clarke smiles tightly. "Let me inform Kane. I'll consider the offer." She says, turning to leave.
"I need a direct answer Clarke."
She spins around, meeting her face to face. "My sentries will show no mercy to the men you've hidden in the tree line. Never threaten my people ever again, do you understand? I will not hesitate to start a war."
"There is already a war brewing. We are on the same side, Clarke." She says evenly.
Clarke glares, knowing full well that she has no other choice- she wouldn't risk her peoples lives' just to personally avoid unwanted encounters.
"I will return in ten minuets. Remove your men from the tree line, or I will not be leaving."
Indra dips her head, a look of relief in her eyes.
