Music has played a really big part in my family. It's what bonded us together 50% of the time.
My eldest brother is a dj. My other brother tunes the steel pan and composes songs for his band. My sister is a former dancer and sings. My brother, Ben, uses music to be expressive which I find to be nice since he doesn't do it with me alot. I sing and love all instruments, besides the big drums you bang on both sides. My little sister dances and plays pan and my Baby brother plays the drum and sometimes sings (he doesn't know I know he could sing)*evil smile*....Each and every other member of my extended family can sing or play an instrument.

Alayah and I would begin my mother to go over at my cousin's and we'd grab purchase sticks and when we arrived we assigned each other to a pan.
So Alayah and Emerald played tenor. Sapphya plyaed triple cello. Olivia aka cookie played double seconds. Sometimes Elijah and Dymon would argue for Triple cello but before you knew it, someone was already there. I played Bass. And we'd begin practising and have fun with each and every not we hit. Music was not a feeling and it wasn't a trend either. It was a part of our heritage.
