It'd been a week since the Fallen fiasco, said mech now offline and Optimus again online. The thought was a happy one. Alice scrunched up her nose, glaring at the vehicle in front of her. It looked like a Cybertronian, but she wasn't sure. She hadn't been updated on any new landfalls, so there was that. But she wasn't the know-all about the 'bots. This 'bot's alt was a blood-red Ferrari. Not like Siders' cherry red paint job. It was wicked cool.

Alice decided that she would meet the 'bot later on. There was no way she was just going to stand around all day. Ratchet had finally let her out of the medbay. 'Severe depression,' her ass. Optimus had been dead! She fell asleep on his corpse! What did he expect? Rainbows and skittles? Alice let out a soft breath before turning around and leaving the hangar. She had a prank to plan.

"Stupid sexy Ferraris," she muttered, "Making me question my sexual standings." And it was true. Sides couldn't decide on an alt mode and kept switching from a Ferrari to a concept car she forgot the name of. Both were awesome. She was glad that said mech hadn't picked up on her over affection for the Ferrari though. Otherwise, he'd tease her for ages.

The teen made a short pitstop to her room, grabbing the glue, glitter and faux facial hair. She'd already set the speakers in every room except medbay to play 'Make A Man Out Of You' on repeat for the next four hours. Now all's she had to do was get into Ironhide's berthroom as well as the soldiers' barracks. This would be the top prank for at least a week. A month at most. She grinned evilly. But it would be remembered for centuries.

She made short work of the time she had to set up the prank. At six a.m. she started the music with a wireless remote. They all should be awake now. Alice giggled to herself. Giving Ironhide armpit hair had been difficult, but worth it. She couldn't wait to see and hear the reactions. The music began faintly, slowly getting louder and louder and louder until it was at max volume. It didn't take very long.

"TWINS!" Ironhide's voice nearly shook the entire base. The responding replies were funny, though. The first two who answered were her sparklings, the two glancing at her to check if she was there first. Alice mentally smiled in pleasure- she'd taught them well. She smiled secretively. But had they listened well? It was time to find out.

"It wasn't us!" 'Bomb shouted, hoping his pseudo uncle would believe him.

"Yeah! We just got out of recharge!" Steel backed his brother up. Alice pretended to look up at them groggily. Though the tiredness was only half faked. Pranking was a tiring career choice after all. 'Bomb took pity on her, picking her up and laying her down on the giant nest of blankets and pillows they had made on a perch above their berth.

"Go back to sleep Mom," he whispered, tucking her in. It was sort of comical, her sons being a giant ass alien robots and her a tiny human, It was really the only reason she let them baby her sometimes. She mumbled something unintelligibly, then let her eyelids close and sleep overtake her. The last things she heard were Sideswipe's and Sunstreaker's screams.

They never did figure out it was her. Her sparklings were under the illusion that she'd been with them up until her second awakening at noon, and very few of the other residents of the base knew of her pranking side. Sideswipe and Sunstreaker being apart of the ones who didn't know.

She asked Ratchet about it, but all he had to say was, "I don't care who did it. They were smart enough not to do it to me and I commend them for that." Alice instantly decided that it had been a good thing that she'd developed a healthy sense of respect for the mech. He was head medic of the base- she didn't even want to imagine what he would've done to her if she'd included him in the prank.

Currently she was back home in Tranquility, working on some plasma cannon upgrades for the 'bots. She didn't know if her family by bond would ever need the weapons she was making, or the land she'd been buying up in Texas, but there was always a chance. As a 'part' of NEST, she given a pretty good salary, something she could live off of for a long time if she wanted. But... that wasn't what she really wanted. Sure it could support her life, but she didn't really care about herself. She wanted to make sure the 'bots were safe in the event that the human governments abandoned them. Alice didn't know a lot of humans, but she knew a lot about human nature. And that's all she needed to know.

"Alice! Sam! It's time for dinner!" She heard her mother's voice from downstairs. The older teen sighed, disappointed that she had yet to finish the prototype of the enhancement. She quickly but carefully packed away the skeleton frame of the Autobot attachment and hid it in the secret compartment located in her closet floor. Standing still and stretching leisurely, she left her room, making sure her window and door was locked as she went. She walked down the hall till she reached the stairs, spotting Sam already at the base of them. Her twin no longer went to Princeton, deciding that a 'normal' life wasn't worth the price of losing the Autobots. Alice approved wholeheartedly. Instead he got to go to 'Becoming An Autobot Liaison 101', where he was basically drilled on how to be the mediator between the U.S. government (the world's governments) and the Autobot's themselves. Alice was glad that she didn't have that job. Sam could enjoy talking to a bunch of stuffy and hardass politicians and senile generals, thank-you-very-much. It wasn't something she particularly liked.

She sat down at the kitchen table, accepting the plate full of three pepperoni slices with a "thank you". Sam sat next to her, their parents sitting across from them. The atmosphere at the table suddenly felt a little heavier, a serious look appearing on their parents' faces.

"Now kids," Judy started carefully, in her usual anxious way when she wanted to ask something she thought was important. Alice immediately focused on her, looking at her face curiously. Her attention was then stolen by her father, when Ron spoke up. He really wasn't the kind of person to dance around anything.

"We know about the Autobots kids." Ron stated bluntly. Their father leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms.

"Ron!" Judy gasped, hitting her husband on the shoulder. While she wasn't one for beating around the bush either, she didn't usually just go in head first. Alice had to hold in her snicker, even with the subject being the giant alien robots they'd been trying to keep secret from their parents for so long.

"You... know?" Sam spluttered, barely being able to comprehend that they'd figured it out. Alice didn't let this fact phase her though, her parents weren't oblivious. Most of the time. Their father gave Sam a 'Do you think I'm stupid?' look.

"Of course we do. Son, your car is one. He may have great processing power, but even he doesn't always remember the way he parked before we went to bed." Ron said in a knowing voice. Alice smirked at Sam's embarrassed expression. It was probably because of the first and last time 'Bee had driven them home drunk. His parking had been atrocious, and Alice had been a bit suspicious when their parents hadn't made a peep the morning after.

"Besides," Judy started, "We have already talk to that Prime fellow. He wasn't very surprised when we told him that we'd figured it out." Alice finished off her pizza. Now that her parents knew about the Autobots and were okay with them, she could freely work on her stuff in the living room.

"Thanks for telling us, Mom, Dad. Now I'm going to go get your nephews." Alice stated, standing and stretching her arms. Her mother gasped.

"Grandkids?!" Alice looked over at Judy and nodded.

"Yeah. They adopted me as their mom. See ya." Alice strode forwards before pausing at the doorway. Then she turned around.

"On second thought," Alice revised her statement, "You can come to them. They're too big to enter the house now."

And that was that.
