CHAPTER 24

School ended early today so you decided to meet up with Hyemin.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Hyemin ah!!" You got excited upon hearing her voice. It have been approximately a month since you last met her.

"Omo Jaerin ah!! Pogoshipo!!" She exclaimed over the line.

"Nado pogoshipo!! Jal jinaesseo? (How are you)" You asked.

"Nan gwenchana. You?" 

"I'm good. Are you free today?"

"Nae! And i assume you want to meet me? Keke." She chuckled.

"That's my smart girl!" You said and the both of you laughed.

"I'll meet you for lunch then, 12pm at the same place. Whoever is late got to treat the other person. See ya!" You hung up the phone without her saying anything.

"YO!" Chanyeol tapped your shoulder as the both of you walk out the school gate.

"Annyeong oppa." You said with your eyes fixed on your phone.

"Want to grab lunch with us later?" He asked.

"You guys go ahead. I'm meeting Hyemin for lunch, mian." You said with guilt.

"Ah... It's okay then, we always have next time." He said cheerfully and draped his arm over your shoulders. As expected, he's the happy virus.

You rushed to the bathroom immediately to take a quick shower right after you reach the dorm. It's already 11.25am and you are only left with 35 minutes to get prepared.

You threw on a white cropped top, denim shorts, varsity jacket and red high top converse. You curled your hair and put only some light makeup. 

You took a glance at the clock and it shows 11.47am. You grabbed your bag and hurried out the dorm and took a cab down to the park you always meet her at. It's quite a distance away from the dorm to the park.

When you reached, it's already 12.05pm. 

You looked around the park to see if she have arrive already but there was no sign of her so you decided to give her a call.

When the phone was on its third ring, someone tapped on your shoulders.

"BOO!" It was Hyemin.

"YAH!!" You shouted because you got a shock.

"You're late woman!! And how dare you scare me like that!" You smacked her shoulders.

"Oww..." She whined in pain. 

"Serve you right. Now you have to treat me lunch." You smirked and dragged her towards your favorite restaurant.

The both of you entered a ramen restaurant and you chose a seat at the balcony. You placed your order and Hyemin's and it arrived within five minutes.

"The breeze here is amazing." Hyemin said.

"The ramyun is even more amazing." You said as you slurped on the noodles.

"Dwaeji... (Pig)" She murmured.

"YAH I HEARD THAT!!" You exclaimed and glared at her, causing her to giggle.

"Calm down woman. So how's EXO?" She asked.

"So you're asking about a group of idols and not your best friend?" You furrowed your eyebrows.

"Yah i asked you over the phone just now!!" She defended.
