CHAPTER 2

"Oppa i'm home!" You removed your shoes and ran into the kitchen to look for food.

"Yah Jaerin ah! Why are you home so early today? Did you skip classes just because EXO has a fan signing event later?!"

"Yah oppa! i did not skip classes! There was a test today so there isn't any lessons." You explained.

"Oh, so how was the test? Was it easy?" 

"Erm it was fine i guess? Cook me some food i'm hungry!" You quickly change the subject as you don't want to disappoint your brother and rushed to your room.

You went to the bathroom, took a warm bubble bath and put on your oversized EXO t-shirt and some floral leggings and black dr martens. You put on some foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. You pull your hair into a messy bun and clipped on a bow clip.

"Food is ready!" Your brother shouted loud enough for you to hear. 

"Nae oppa! Coming!" You skipped down the stairs happily. 

"Wow, do you really need to wear so prettily just for a fan signing event?" Your brother complimented and questioned. 

"Of course! I want my Wu Fan ge to notice me!" You said proudly and blushed afterwards.

"Yeah yeah, YOUR Wu Yifan!" Your bother played along and ruffled your hair.

"Yah oppa! Don't mess up my hair!" 

"Opps, sorry my little princess!" Your brother teased and stuck out his tongue.

"Oppa, are you really 24?"

"Hurry up and eat!" He said, purposey ignoring your question.

You and your brother get along very well, sometimes even people misunderstood you guys as a couple. You were prepared to leave the house to get some bubbletea first as it was still a little early. Yes you loveeeeeee bubbletea especially Mocha Ice blend. Your brother then stopped you.

"Nae oppa? Waeyo?" 

"Erm Jaerin ah. Oppa has something to tell you."

"Nae, what is it?" 

"Erm...... you know the day after tomorrow is our parent's death anniversary right?"

"Uh huh, wae?"

"And the day after their death anniversary is the end of your school year right which means it'll be a few months of holidays for you before the new year starts." Yes, the end of your school year is finally here and you've been waiting for this moment all the while because your brother promised to take you to Lotte world and go to the water park! 

"Yah palli! Can you just go straight to the point already?!" You exclaimed impatiently.

"Well oppa has to leave for America because eemo (aunt) had a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital. So is it okay if i leave you here alone, in Korea?"

"B-BO?!?!!? B-b-but y-you will be away for a f-few days only r-r-right?" You were stuttering because you were shocked from the sudden news.

"Calm down Jaerin ah. Oppa will be away for a few months because i need to settle some stuff there as well. But don't worry! Oppa will send you money every week and since i'm worry about you living on your own, i'll arrange a place for you to stay for time being. Now palli, the event is starting!"

"B-but......." You weren't able to complete your sentence because your brother rushed you out of the house. Your brother was supposed to be at the fan signing event as well because he's a SM staff (You're a lucky sister haha) but he has work to do at home so you had to go to the event on your own. *Aish! Why can't i live on my own! I'm grown up already and it'll be awkward living with someone whom i don't even know!!* You thought angrily.
