I hear this annoying tapping sound from my window. I open my eyes, groggily walk over to the noise, I open the window and stare down to see who it is. "Jia! I am so happy you're up!" Ji-ho shouts to me.
"What? What do you want?!" I shout back. I glance over to my alarm clock and see its blinking 3:30.
"Can you open the door?"
"Is it locked?" He nods. "Doesn't it suck for you?"
"Jia, will you please open it! I'll buy you food tomorrow! Please!" He begs.
"Fine!" I hiss. I scan over who else is with him. I see Minho and this other boy next to him that I know. I close my window and march downstairs. I quietly unlock the front door and open it up. "Get it in!" I growl.
"Thank you Jia!" Ji-ho hugs me.
I push him away from me. "Don't ever do this again."
"Which part? Coming home late or waking you up?" Minho asks.
I glare at him as he backs away from me. "This isn't funny. I'm tired," I groan. I turn around and walk towards the stairs. "Don't wake me up again." I walk up towards my room, lie in my bed and go back to sleep.
I get up the next morning. I decide that I would be nice and make my brother and his friends something for breakfast. I begin cooking and put a pot of coffee on just in case one of them want a cup.
"Morning," a voice yawns.
"Good morning." I look towards who is in the kitchen with me. "How did you sleep, Minho?"
"I slept okay, I couldn't really fall asleep." He leans against the wall. "Are you making breakfast?"
"Yeah, I'm making it for you and the other two."
"Really?" Minho raises an eyebrow.
"I thought I would be nice and cook breakfast for everybody," I say. I put the the finished food in bowls and set them on the table. "Are the other two up?"
"Yeah, they are busy moaning about their hangovers."
"Do you not have one?" I finish setting up the table for breakfast.
"No, I didn't really drink much last night. I mean someone had to make sure those two made it home safely." Minho points upstairs.
"Do you want a cup of coffee?" I went to reach for a cup.
"Sure. Do you got any creamer?"
"I think so, check the fridge." I went over to the brewed coffee, I pour some into a mug, Minho comes over and put some creamer in. "Do you want some sugar?"
"One scoop."
I put one scoop in, hand him the mug, then I fill a cup full of juice and the two of us sit down at the table. I start to dish out some of the breakfast I made to Minho and I.
"Where are your parents?" Minho wonders. He take a sip of his coffee.
I check my phone. "At work," I answer.
"Do they always work weekends?"
"Usually." We eat our breakfast. Minho then starts to scarf down his breakfast. "You should probably slow down."
"Your food is so good, I just can't," he says.
I chuckle as I wipe a piece of rice away from the corner of his mouth. "Thank you for the compliment." I begin to blush. I hear two groaning zombies enter the kitchen. Ji-ho stares at the two of us in the dining room. "Morning," I chirp. "I made breakfast and a pot of coffee."
"You're the best," he groans. He then starts to pour himself and his friend a cup of coffee.
"Who's with him?"
"Yoo-kwon-hyung," Minho answers.
"Okay." I continue to eat as Ji-ho and Yoo-kwon slump into two chairs around the table. "How are-" Ji-ho press his finger into my mouth.
"Don't. Talk," he hiss.
I shift my eyes from Ji-ho to Yoo-kwon to Minho. "Okay," I mumble.
Yoo-kwon and Ji-ho sloppily eat the breakfast I made. "Thanks for the food," Yoo-kwon says.
"No problem," I mumble.
After they finish breakfast, I send Yoo-kwon and Ji-ho upstairs with a glass of water and Tylenol. Minho stays downstairs and helps me with the dishes.
"So, how was your performance last night?" I wonder. I scrub one of the bowls from today, rinse it out and put it in the drying rack.
"It was great, the crowd loved it. I wish you could've seen it," Minho says. He looks around the kitchen. "Where does this go?"
I chuckle as I respond, "It goes in the cupboard behind you."
"Alright."
We finish doing the dishes and sit in the living room. Minho slowly moves closer to me, like Jihoon said he would. I stand up quickly and walk to the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Minho asks.
"I'm going to get changed for the day."
"Okay," Minho says.
I walk to my room and over to my closet. I have to stop him, I don't like him like that. I still can't believe Jihoon is right about him. I believed that he was just a nice person, now I understand why Ji-ho and Kyung didn't want me to be talk to him.
I scan through my closet trying to find something to wear that's not too revealing. I'm really not in the mood to wear pants, dresses might give him the wrong idea and so will skirts, so that leaves me with sweats and shorts. It's to cold for short and I don't want to wear sweats. I decide on wearing a some pants.
I pick out some black skinny jeans, a white shirt and black coat. I put on some socks, brush my hair and put it up in a bun. I grab my phone and head back to the living room.
"How are you doing?" Minho asks.
"I'm fine," I mumble. I sit down on the couch. I feel my hands start to shake.
"Are you sure? Your hands are shaking," Minho says. I notice Minho pointing down at my hands. I instinctively sit on them so he couldn't see them anymore.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine." I turn away from him.
"You don't seem fine." He moves closer to me.
I close my eyes and start doing some breathing exercises. I feel two arms wrap around. My eyes dart open and stare at Minho. "Wh-what are you d-doing?" I stammer.
He's touching me. What do I do?!
"It seems like you need a hug," Minho answers. I can feel his voice vibrate through his chest as he talks to me.
I open my mouth to say something, but nothing comes out. Instead, I breath in his scent of citrus fruit, alcohol and sweat. I would say he smells amazing, but he doesn't. The alcohol and sweat from last night is very apparent.
I move away from him. "You need to shower," I bluntly say, I pinch my nose so I don't smell him anymore.
Before anything else could be said, the door opens up and Kyung walks through it.
