“Hey, stop!” yelled Jaykub.

“Oh, hey, what’s up?” I said.

“What are you doing this Saturday?”

“You’re asking me out? But I thought you were…”

“Gay? Yes I am, but that doesn’t mean that I can go on a date with you. Does it?”

“Well of course not, I just wasn’t expecting it. I actually thought that you would go out with Abbi, not me,” I said.

OH MY GOSH, I have a date tonight with the hottest guy ever! Calm down Stacey, be cool!

“Well why would you think that? She’s a tramp, I don’t really like her, and I don’t think that she’s very pretty anyway. I would rather go out with you,” Jaykub said.

Awwww... He was so sweet!

Alright, well where do you want to go?”

“How about the movies?” Jaykub asked.

“Sure, that would be great!” I said.

“Alright, I’ll pick you up at 8.”

“Ok, bye Jaykub,” I replied excitedly.

“Bye,” Jaykub replied.

I see Sadie and I run up to her and tell her the news. She was so ecstatic that we actually skipped school and went shopping! She bought me a brand new dress. It was bright red, which went great with my dark brown hair and red highlights. It had sparkles all over it and was strapless. Which seemed too dressy for a movie night, so I called Jaykub and asked if we could change the date to next week. He told me to meet him at the bonfire after the football game.

----------------------------------

As I walked up the bonfire, there were people I knew there. There was Abbi, Kayden, Nick, and of course Jaykub.

Oh man, Jaykub looked really good. He was so handsome.

He stood up and smiled at me. He then looked at Kayden and laughed.

Why would he do that? Are they talking about me?

“Hey,” I whispered.

“You look really beautiful,” He replied.

He called me beautiful, maybe I am beautiful. Well obviously I am because he just called me that!

“Thanks, Sadie bought me the dress. I think it’s a little big, and too much.”

“Nah, it’s just fine. You look great!”

“Yeah if you wanted her in bed!” Joked Kayden.

The whole group laughed. Even Jaykub.

How could he laugh at that? It was so rude!

“Sorry, Kayden is kind of a jerk,” said Jaykub.

“Yeah. It’s alright though, I get picked on by him all the time,” I replied.

“You wanna get out of here? Are you hungry? Because I am,” Jaykub said as his stomach rumbled.

“Oh, yeah. Sure. Where do you want to go?”

“What do you like?”

“Mexican,” I said.

“Then we will have Mexican for dinner. Is that alright?”

“Yes,” I replied.

We got in the car and he held my hand. I was so excited. I have never held anyone’s hand before.  It was very warm. I really liked it. As we drove up to my favorite Mexican restaurant, El Jaripeo I started to get a little bit jittery and nervous. I have never been on a date before. As we got out of the car I waited, thinking he would open the door for me. Awww... He did open the door for me! He is so sweet. I am so glad that I ran into him last week. He opened the door to the restaurant and when we walked in there I ran into my best friend’s table. Oh shit! If she finds out that I ditched her earlier then she will kill me!! (Not literally, but you know what I mean)

“Hey Stacey, I see your with Jaykub tonight,” Said Sadie.

“Uh... Yeah, sorry my mom canceled her plans and Jake asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner so I said yes,” I replied.

“Really, well that’s what I thought until I called your mom asking if you really had plans, because I knew you were hiding something today,” Sadie said very assuming.

“I am really sorry Sadie. I really am, I did not mean to upset you.”

“Whatever, I knew you weren’t a true friend, because true friends don’t ditch each other for boys! I thought that friends became first instead of boyfriends, but I guess not,” Sadie said very mean.

“Really! You’re blaming me. Well sometimes I do not want to hang out with a stuck up bitch all the time!” I screamed.

“You’re calling me a bitch! You’re the one who is the bitch!” Sadie yelled back.

The next kind of part in the story is kind of like a slow motion thing. She hit me, I hit her. We both ended up getting kicked out of the El Jaripeo. I got my dressed ripped off of me and Jake got really upset. He decided to take me home because I was bleeding and I will probably have a black eye tomorrow. Which is totally not what I wanted to do, I hate hurting my best friend, well I wouldn’t say that she is my best friend anymore since we just got into a big fight.

--------------------------------------

Jaykub and I were in the car, and we were talking about the big fight that happened in the restaurant.

“Hey, are you sure you are all right?” Jake asked.

“Oh, yeah totally. Just a little upset that we got into a big fight. I was not expecting that,” I replied.

“Neither was I, but hey. At least I got to split it up and it was quite fun. In my life I have never seen two girls fight at a restaurant and you getting your dress ripped like that,” Jaykub said.

“Yeah, I am sorry for that too. It was quite embarrassing,” I admitted.

“Nah. More like quite hot,” Jake replied with emphasis on the “hot”.

“Hey! Shut up it was not hot when I got my dress ripped off of me and I am basically naked in your car,” I said funnily.

“Are you kidding, it was... perfect. You’re perfect,” Jaykub said very sweetly.

Did he really just call me perfect? Am I really perfect?

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah,” He replied.

He smiled at me then grabbed my hand. I felt so comfortable with him. It was like we were meant to be. But I forgot, he is gay. Well I wouldn’t say gay anymore. More like bisexual. Which is even hotter than being gay.

When he dropped me off at my house, he kissed me!! I was so ecstatic that I actually cried after he did that.

“I’m sorry if I made you cry, I just really like you,” Jaykub said.

“It’s all right Jake, I cried because I liked it.”

Well, our first date wasn’t exactly what I wanted, or planned. But I still had fun. I couldn’t wait until our next one or to tell Sadie, oh yeah. I forgot that I wasn’t friends with Sadie anymore. We got into a fight last night.
