Pregnant or not?

Jaykub Collins and I have been dating for three months now. It doesn’t even seem like three months. I feel like just yesterday I met him in his Mustang. I really like him, he is the best boyfriend I have ever had, or is he? As we were lying in my bed watching twilight, we were talking about our future plans.

“I really like you, I think that this can go very far,” Jake said.

“Jake, you know I love you. I could spend the rest of my life with you.”

“Aw, Stacey, you are so adorable. Why do you have to be so perfect?”

“I am not perfect! I tell you this every time. Why do think that I am so perfect when I clearly am not perfect,” I said with a tone in my voice that had a little sarcasm.

“Baby, stop. You are perfect. You may not think it, but you are to me,” Jaykub said.

That was the sweetest thing he has ever told me! He is the one that is perfect!  

After we had our little conversation about our future, we got a little imitate. Here’s how it all went down, He started kissing me and I started kissing him back. His lips were so soft, that I could kiss them everyday and could never ever stop kissing him. His lips are just so perfect. He started to pull off my top off and I let him. Next came my pants, then his. Then at the end it was pure bliss. My virginity is gone. I am so happy. It wasn’t the best sex.

I know that it hurt a lot. It felt like someone stuck a hot rod in my vagina and when he pulled it out, it became cold. It was pretty good for my first time, but abstinence is recommended. Somehow I felt a demon hurting every entrance to my body. The next couple of days were perfect. We were having a natural bond I would say. That is where we have had sex about every time we saw each other. Which was good. He was getting better at it to be honest.

The part that I was worried about was when my period was a week late. That scared me. I told Jake and he said not to worry, that I should be perfectly fine, but he had this kind of look on his face that was like “Oh shit”.

A couple weeks after Sadie and I had that huge fight in the restaurant. We decided to make up. She was just upset that I ditched her for my boyfriend. Which is totally understandable. It would be pretty upsetting if too if she ditched me for some guy. Jaykub is not just some guy anymore. He is my best friend and the love of my life. I was starting to get really worried about my period being a week late.

“Sadie, my period is a week late, I am scared to death. What if I am pregnant?” I said scarcely.

“Alright, calm down, later today we will go get a early pregnancy test and see if you truly are. But if you are then I will be there every step of the way! I promise!”

“How do you know that Jake and I have even had sex?”

“It’s all over school. Everyone knows about it. Do you think that the school is clueless?”

“Well no, but I haven’t told anyone since we had sex.”

“Jake has, I heard him and that Kayden kid talking about it today at lunch. Also something to do with money. I think it was a bet or something,” Sadie replied.

“No, my Jake would not make a bet with that bastard, Kayden. I know him better than that,” I said.

“I have no idea Stacey, I am just saying. That is all I heard.”

“Alright, well I will see you after school. Do you want to meet in our usual spot so we can walk home together? Or no?” I asked.

“Yeah, but what about your test? I guess we will we will get that first, and then we will go back to your house. Is your mom home?” Asked Sadie.

“No, she is gone the whole week. Went to go find Caleb or something. Probably about time, he left a while ago when she hit Miles and Caleb ran off with him. I can not believe my mom would hit my little brother!”

“I am sure Miles is fine Stace, anyway, I am going to class. I am already late. See yeah!”

“Bye!” I yelled halfway down the hallway.

I was actually surprised that Sadie was actually going to help me. After she gave me a black eye and almost broke my nose at that restaurant I am surprised that she is going to help me with this situation.

Maybe she won’t help me. Maybe she is pretending to be my friend and then when she finds out that I am pregnant, hopefully I am not. She will go around and tell the whole school and my life will be the same as it was last year! I really hope that she is not playing me.

After school let out I ran straight to the store with Sadie. We bought one of those pregnancy tests that are an early test so I could know for sure. When we went up and checked it out the cashier looked at something or me like I was some stupid girl that got raped. It was creepy. The whole thing felt like one of those horror movies when the main character goes to look in the closet when everyone else knows that she shouldn’t look. It was almost like I could see the audience’s faces when she opens the closet door. Anyway, it was creepy.

Sadie and I ran to my house, literally. I did not want anyone from school finding me at a drugstore buying a pregnancy test. My life would be ruined if that happened. As soon as I got home I ran into the bathroom. I was so freaked out by what my result was that I couldn’t pee. So I decided to drink a whole bottle of water to help it my nerves calm down a little bit.

God Damn, why can’t I pee? I drank a whole bottle of water. Maybe it is because I am so nervous. Just calm down Stacey. It will be all right. It’s just a little test. Think of it as a math test or an English test. Wait, I am freaking out even more because I didn’t study! Oh shit.

After like twenty minutes I finally peed. The pregnancy test said that I had to wait three minutes! I can’t wait three freaking minutes! Will this thing hurry up already?

“Sadie, it is not done yet!” I yelled.

“Stacey, just wait, staring at it won’t help you have to wait three minutes. It hasn’t even been one. Maybe if you took your mind off of things it will go by faster.”

“Alright then, well what do you want to do while we spare some time?”

“I have no idea, so have to told Jake yet that you might be pregnant?”

“Are you kidding me? If I tell him that I am taking a test he might freak out on me!”

“Well, this wouldn’t have happened if you two would have used protection!”

“Are you really yelling at me right now when that test is the most important thing in my life and debating whether not it will ruin it!”

“Stacey, I am sorry. I didn’t mean to, I am just as nervous as you are.”

“Yeah, I know, I shouldn’t be yelling at you either.”

As I looked over I almost fainted. I grabbed the test in one hand and stared at it until I dropped it. The test hit the floor and shattered like a piece of thin ice hitting the pavement and went everywhere. Sadie bent down to pick it up and was shocked herself. The part where it tells you whether or not I am pregnant was shattered as well. Sadie did not know what it said but I did. I am kind of glad that she didn’t get to read it, because I wouldn’t know what I would do if she told anyone that I was pregnant.
