A Demon Maid

Chapter Three

 I use my free hand to slap him he backs up holding his cheek.

"It's rude to grab a lady by her wrist you should know that Sebastian!" he gave me a surprised look at my remark, he bows in apology .

"My apologies I was just making sure you're not snooping, young master doesn't like people going through his stuff". With that said he left  I leave to my room taking out the necklace. I feel shocked it has Astrid's name on it, being the curious person I am I went to see the memories of this necklace.

I see Ciel and Astrid playing in the garden where the roses bloomed and a young man and woman sipping tea under the parasol. More people accompanied them. 

"My you guys have wonderful children I wish my kids were as graceful as yours", a woman said while sipping her tea 

"Doesn't miss Astrid have a special ability?" A young gentleman asked the man and lady, the man nodded his head

"Yes she can see and talk to ghosts we took her to medical care, they said that she was born with it". 

"Well we can't have that why not send her to another family out of London?" another guest said the young man stood up 

" No! ability or not she is our daughter and we love her no matter what!", 

"I know but think about Ciel he might worry about her and why she's talking to herself. If you don't do something well the asylum might". There was silence then- 

"Okay we'll do it tomorrow" the man sat back down. The next day, the man and woman were wearing cloaks with hoods like Astrid when I met her. They went into a carriage and went out of London, the house they stopped at was the one that got burned down. Before they let her go they gave her hugs and kisses on her forehead. Astrid was asleep the man was carrying her in his arms, the lady knocked on the door a woman in her thirties answered and took Astrid in. The man and lady left with tears in their eyes. 

I went back to present day looking down at the necklace in my hand and out of nowhere I felt a pain in my chest. "What the hell was that?" it almost felt like heartbeat. Ignoring this feeling I go to master Ciel on the way I run into Finnian and Astrid holding hands talking "Scarlet guess what?!", sounding excited she holds both of my hands, I feel the pain in my chest again resisting the urge to clutch it I answer. 

"What is it lady Evergreen?" She holds her left hand out showing me a ring with a sliver band and pink diamond. 

"Finnian is my betrothed! I'm so happy!" She won't be when she finds out what her parents did.  Out of nowhere a woman came running down the hall with a chainsaw with a circle on it. 

"Catch me if you can Grell!" the woman is behind me with the chainsaw. A man with long red hair and weird clothes came running down. 

"Coraline give that back!! I have to go see Bassy!!", the man is in front of me I don't know why but I feel my cheeks burn up. Maybe it's because of the chest pain, his emerald green eyes are hidden with red glasses.

"You always see Sebastian you never have time to hunt for souls with me!" she waved the chainsaw around playfully. This what I expect from Coraline she was always like this back in hell. The two started running around me I stop both of them with my hands. Coraline climbs on my shoulder like a parrot. 

"Hey Scarlet nice to see you again!" she cuddled on me 

"Hey Coraline getting into trouble again?" 

"I'm a puppy demon what do you expect?". I gently took the man's chainsaw from Coraline handing it back to him. 

"Thank you what's your name miss?" the man asked me with a smile 

"Scarlet Rose what about you?" 

"Names Grell Sutcliff now if you don't mind I gotta go find Bassy" then he ran off.
