Based on Spring day, and loosely on Come back home

Jungkook waits for Taehyung to come back home

This is the same universe as "Pinky Promise," where Hoseok leaves for Busan

A really good idea I most likely use

Jungkook leaned against the foggy window, staring outside at the snowy scenery. It had been two years since Taehyung had gone to war, and he was starting to lose hope.

It felt like they were drifting farther and farther apart everyday, Jungkook could only let more tears fall as the distance grew wider. Taehyung had sent a letter a few months ago saying he would return in the spring, right when the cherry blossoms would bloom. And here he was, waiting for a spring day to come.

"Jungkook-ah, he'll come back soon, don't worry. Even if he was injured, he'd fight to stay alive just to live another day to see you. He loves you that much, trust me, I know." Jimin took Jungkook's hand in his and squeezed it.

Tears were already rolling down Jungkook's cheeks, dripping onto his sweater; one Taehyung had given him. Jimin cupped his face, using his thumb to wipe away a tear.

"Come here, baby." Jimin held his arms out before Jungkook immediately accepted the hug, returning it. He sobbed onto his shoulder, burying his face in Jimin's neck.

"I miss him so much," Jungkook sobbed, gripping and tugging onto Jimin's sweater as he greieved.

"I know the feeling," Jimin sighed. "As your best friend, I need you to have hope. I love you, and I want you to be happy." Jimin placed his hand behind Jungkook's head, gently playing with his hair.

"I love you too, Jimin-hyung." Jungkook said as he pulled away from the hug, a small smile on his face. Jimin pressed a kiss on his forehead, smiling in return.

"We've reached our last stop, Daegu. I repeat, Daegu, last stop." the announcer spoke.

Jungkook stood up, exiting the train to walk outside. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom as he sighed, watching their rosy petals fall.

"They say cherry blossom petals fall five centimeters per second." A familiar voice said from behind him. He spun aroud, his eyes landing on a tired yet smiling Taehyung, a bandage around his hand.

Jungkook ran at full speed into him, embracing him in a tight hug. Tears of happiness flooded his eyes, streaking his cheeks.

"You came back, exactly when you said you would. I almost lost hope, but Jimin helped me." Kookie said into Tae's neck.

"That's why Jimin is a good friend for you."

"Not as good as you though." Kookie pulled away, their noses touching at the tips.

"I've never loved you more than I do now." Tae said as he leaned in for a kiss.
