"You'll need to operate on the baby in the womb, then in 2 weeks when its born the baby might need a second operation depending on the strength of the infants lungs. It's my case because this kid is going to need treatment for the rest of her life. Even if she makes it past infancy without a second operation, as she gets older she will be moving more and doing more and more physical activity and her lungs will give ou...- Can you handle this ?" Karev was walking with Arizona and leading Murphy to the patients room when he turned around and looked at the two women and asked the question. There was no room for any wavering of commitment to this case. "Karev I don't know why you asked that, but don't ever ask me it again. Doubting my surgical skills is low hit for this time of ye-" Arizona attempted to defend her stance until Karev cut her off. "Oh shut it pigtails, you taught me everything I know. I was talking to Murphy. This is a long term case that is going to have a lot of late nights, cups of coffee, and crashing in on call rooms. That's a lot for a resident even if you are at the top, it will drain you dry and pull at all your heart strings. You'll work your ass off and she still might not make it. So I'll ask again, Can you handle this?" Murphy pursed her lips and took in a deep breathe. "Let's work our asses off." She said with a determined smile. Arizona nodded at Karev and he opened the door to reveal a mother with a worried face and a head injury. She had dark hair with dark eyes and scratches on her face. She had a cinnamon tint to her skin and her smile was forced but from the look in her eyes you could tell she wanted it to be real. "Karina Garcia, age 29 presents with a minor concussion and a fractured ankle, 26 weeks pregnant. We detected Pompe's disease in the fetus and are going in with prenatal surgery to clear her lungs that are filling up with fluids that can kill her before she is born. Then in two weeks we will induce labor and bring little Eliza into this world. After she is born we will watch her closely to determine if she will need any further operations. And then we will decide course of treatment for her to endure for the symptoms of this disease." Karev recited the patients information so clearly that you could tell he studied the chart forward and backwards. Karina sighed and smiled until she finally spoke up and said "I hope you don't mind me asking Dr. Robbins but I'm a therapist so I must, you're looking at me like you've lost someone. Are you alright?" Arizona realized she was staring very intently at this woman. Not lustfully, but sadly.

And before Arizona could reply to her question she had a sudden pang in her chest and a wave of nausea washed over her. Arizona tried to stabilize herself on the foot board of the hospital bed but she couldn't move. Her whole body was stiff and dense as a boulder. She fainted backwards and started screaming through her unconsciousness. "We've been gone all of ten minutes, What could Mark possibly want? " Arizona asked jokingly. "I don't know. Ohh. Oh, y ... okay. This is ... this is bad. He found out Lexie's with Avery. He's freaking" Callie said reading Marks texts. Arizona grabbed Callie's phone and tried to take it. "Ah-oh, what the hell? " Callie exclaimed with a tone of annoyance in her voice. "Just let go." Arizona mumbled as she got ahold of Callie's phone and tossed it in the back seat. Callie looked at her. "What? This-this is ... This is time for us. It's just for us. And the first thing that you want to do is talk to Mark, so I-" Arizona attempted explained before she was cut off. "You just said it was okay! . . . Okay. All right. You know what? Screw it. No, I am gonna-" Callie unbuckled her seat belt. "What are you doing?! What are you doing? " Arizona asked trying to understand why Callie couldn't just go without talking to him for a while. "I'm gonna talk to him!"Callie said reaching back. "Don't you dare call him. I .." Arizona bit her tongue.Callie wasn't going to listen. "This is jealousy, Arizona. You are jealous of Mark. Get over it." Callie said looking at Arizona and then back at her phone to talk to Mark. "Well, do you -..do you blame me? I mean, he gets most of you ... the straight you, the ... the catholic you, the girl who loves baby showers. I just get, you know, the gay you ... oh. Which is really only about 20 minutes a night, and not even, since you just feel too fat to even let me touch you lately." Arizona angrily declared this with a breath at the end. She knew she was jealous but she was jealous because it hurt. It hurt to be in love with Calliope. Calliope wasn't romantically involved with Mark, she just slept with him after Arizona left for her grant. Callie wasn't in love with Mark, she was looking for company and got a baby out of it. And it hurt Arizona more than even her herself knew. "Look, I am doing my best here to make sure that you are happy and that Mark's happy and that the tiny person growing inside me is happy. I don't know what else I can do, to be honest. Please tell me, 'cause I'll do it. Whatever will make you happy, I will do it." Callie exclaimed. Callie loved Arizona with all her heart and she was broken after she left Callie, not just left for Africa. She left Callie, Callie was going to go with her but instead, right before getting to their Gate in the airport she broke up with Callie and left her. And she understands the jealously towards Mark but she refuses to tolerate it after all she went through while Arizona was gone. After all she went through, and she still took Arizona back. Callie looked at Arizona questioningly, her face looked like she had something to say but she was pondering whether or not it was a good idea. Arizona looked at Callie who was back on her phone and stated plainly with a hopeful tone, "Marry me." "What?" Callie shook her head and snorted a little snort with her laugh. "I mean it. I love you more than... anything. But I want more. I want commitments. I want rings. So... marry me". They stared at each other intently. When they turned their eyes back towards the road, there was no time for Callie to answer. They both gasped as it was too late. Arizona asked Calliope to marry her, and a truck came out of no where.

HEyyy, so at this point you might be confused which is totally understandable and I'm sorry haha. Anyways, the italic writing is Arizona having a flashback and she fainted from PTSD.. kind of I guess Idk I haven't decided yet. If you haven't gotten to season 7 episode 17 and further then you're not going to understand this story at all. I won't take time to explain, if you want to understand you can simply watch the show.
