There was sound, and a lot of it. It was loud, muffled, and was making Arizona's head pound. Arizona opened her eyes and was blinded by the very bright hospital lights above her. "oh-oh God, shoot me in the head." Arizona said as she tried, but failed to sit up in the hospital bed. "Arizona you're awake! Are you okay? How do you feel?" Alex ran to her bedside pushing through the small crowd of people to check on his mentor and best friend. Alex held out his hand to help Arizona sit up. Arizona used his hand to pull her self into sitting straight up and sighed. "So, what happened?" Arizona squinted as she rubbed the back of her head where a good sized bump had formed. "The patient, Karina, you were staring at her and you looked so sad.. anyway, she asked you if you were alright, and then you fell. As soon as you were unconscious you started screaming and crying. It was strange. What was on your mind?" All of this information flooded back to Arizona and she knew. She was thinking about her Calliope. Arizona tried to speak but failed to make nothing but an airy squeak come out. She looked around the room at all of her colleagues, friends, looking at her. Alex, realized she didn't want to talk about what ever it was in front of them and he began to herd them out. "Are you sure she's okay? I saw her fall, it was pretty hard. did you get a CT?- Ar- Are you sure she's alright?" Amelia went on and on but Alex just shuffled her out of the room assuring Amy that Arizona would be fine.

Once everyone was out of the room except Alex and Arizona, he shut the door and sat at the foot of her bed. "What's up?" Alex asked with concern in his eyes. "That woman- Karina was it?,- She resembled Callie so much. She had the head wrap for her head injury, a cut on her face, dark brown short hair, dark eyes, a brown sugar skin tone, and she was pregnant. Everything to a point resembled Callie when we got hit by that truck. And it all came flooding back. I asked her to marry me, and a truck came out of nowhere." Arizona felt tears welling up in her eyes and Alex knew for certain right then and there, Arizona was still in love with Callie. "You miss her huh?" Alex already knew the answer to this question but he also knew Arizona needed to say it out loud so she herself could hear it. "S-So-soo, much Alex. S-So much. I- I'm in l-love with her" Arizona couldn't stop stuttering because she was fighting the pang in her chest and the tears in her eyes. But when she said, out loud, that she was still in love with Callie, the tears fell, and she sobbed. "I-I am in love with Calliope." It was in this moment Alex moved to Arizona and held her in his arms and she was thankful for this surgeon that she had raised up. It was also in that moment she saw more clearly through the tears than she did with dry cheeks. She was in love, and she needed her family back. She cried and sniffled on and she didn't know what to do from here. "I know, I know, it's okay Robbins, it's okay." Alex cooed to his friend, and his heart hurt for her.

Sorry if this was sucky, it's been forever and I kind of forgot what even happened. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and continue to stick with me through this, stay smiley! xx Brie :)
