chapter four

Bellamy

It has been over four hours since the group left to go to the glowing forest, and Clarke is only getting worse. Her body is burning up, I wouldn't be surprised if her body were hot enough to cook on, her body is dripping with a thick, cold sweat and she's becoming delusional.

And she's also being nice to me which is something I am not used to.

Myself and Clarke getting on is a rare thing to see, it seems as though we've been fighting ever since stepping foot outside of that damn dropship.

"Bellamy." Clarke coughs out.

I put down the book in my hand and quickly get up to help her, "Yes, Clarke?" I ask sitting beside her and pushing away the sweat covered hair that had stuck to her forehead, stroking her skin as I do so.

I don't know why I did that, but it just seemed like the right thing to do.
And I wouldn't be opposed to doing it again.

"Can I have some water please?"She asks in almost a whisper as she tries sitting up.

I smile and grab the bottle of next to her, lifting it towards her mouth for her as her arms are weak and have given out.

When she's done drinking I turn to get up and return to my book, but she grabs my arm and pulls me down besides her and lays her head on my chest. It startles me and makes me feel a little uncomfortable, but I just suck it up because she needs me, she needs to be comforted.

"Bellamy?" She whispers looking up at me.

I smile down at her and stroking her hair, "What is it, Princess?"

"I'm scared." She whimpers a tear rolling out of her eye.

"Sh, there's no need to be scared Princess. I won't let anything happen to you Clarke, I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep Bellamy."

I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, I've been taking a little break from writing but I'm back now!
Sorry the chapter's so short as well but I mean fluff, it was kind of cute right?
