"Clarke..." Bellamy whispered, his hazel eyes piercing into her blue ones.

"It's stupid, I'm sorry. I think it was just an in the moment thing, Bell. I know relationships aren't your thing." Clarke laughed awkwardly, trying to hide her embarrassment, scratching the back of her neck.

"Wait, Clarke is that what you really think?" He said, he was clearly offended by the tone of his voice.

Clarke pushed on her hands, wobbling as she lifted herself off of the ground.

"We should get going." She said walking ahead of him and into the trees.

She was well ahead of Bellamy, she had always been a fast walker. She had to be since she was a doctor in training on the ark.

That was until her parents were floated for treason and she was sent to live in the sky box for a year and a half.

Clarke had just finished her rounds in the doctors clinic, on the Phoenix station. She was exhausted and hungry after standing around for the last six hours watching a cardio vascular surgery to one of the injured workers from walden.

She stumbled into her flat on the arc, throwing down her bag by the door and crashing onto the couch.

"Mom, dad, I'm home." She shouted, the words bouncing and echoing off of the metal walls.

She heard no reply, which was unusual considering her mother was always home when she was.

She stood and up and walked towards the hall way, hovering outside her mothers room.

She peaked in and could see her mother in bed with the Vice chancellor, Kane.

Clarke gasped and ran out of the apartment, she ran down the corridors, being told multiple times by guards to stop running.

She pounded on Wells door, she really needed to talk to someone right now.

The door slowly opened, and Wells appeard through the crack.
"Clarke?" He whispered, wrapping his arm around the blonde and pulling her close to him.

Wells had been in love with Clarke since he could remember. He was her closets friend on the ark, and he only wished she felt the same way about him.

"What's wrong?" He asked, rubbing her back.

Clarke decided to go back to her apartment after explaining to Wells what had happened.

She slamed the door and saw her mother say at the table, filling in some work.

"Clarke!" Abby yelled.

She took her glasses off, folding them up and placing on the table.

The small blonde turned around looking at her mother with a disgusted expression.

"I knew you like Kane, but I didn't think you liked him that much." She scoffed.

Abby walked closer to Clarke, "What are you talking about?"

"I saw you in bed with Vice chancellor Kane!"

Abby sighed and lifted her hand up, rubbing her forehead.

"Clarke, I can explain."

Clarke slammed her fists on the counter in their kitchen.
"Explain then."

Her mom gestured her over to the couch in their small living room, sitting down on the three seater whilst Clarke sat in the armchair.

"Chancellor Jaha is not fit to be running things, anyone could see that. It was a coup, he's killing innocent people on this ship for crimes they have not commited. Myself and your father have decided to try and take him out, and if I can get to Kane then I can get to Jaha."

Clarke looked at her mother in confusion, her nose scrunched up and her brows threaded together.

" I don't understand." Clarke said.

Abby sighed and looked straight into the blondes eyes.

"We're going to kill the Chancellor."
