Jake was still dead asleep. I got up and answered the door. There was Mikey in all his glory. Holding a bouquet of flowers. A sleepy Jake wandered over to the door. His eyes were so squinty he didn't have a shirt on and his voice was so raspy. He snapped out of it real quick "what the hell are you here for?" Jake raised his voice. "I'm gonna beat the fuckin shit out of you" he started yelling. I pushed Jake out of the way. His abs were rock solid. "Jake please sit down let me talk to him" I said reassuringly. "If he does anything I will beat his ass" he laughed. I walked outside to see him leaning against his car. "Lauren I'm so sorry"
"You broke me mikey.... I fucking loved you I wanted to take a chance with you" . I pushed my hair back and bit my bottom lip to prevent tears stream down face. It didn't work. Mikey hugged me. I gave into the hug and backed away. "I just need time" I said looking at the ground.  I started to walk away " lauren, text me?" "Maybe" I replied without looking back.
I walked back into the house and sat on Jakes lap and leaned into his body. And that's how I stayed.
Jakes Pov
I woke up with Lauren on my lap I wrapped my arms around her. "Jake let me up" she said laughing "uh uh" I said sadly. She tried getting up but I held onto her. "I'll tickle you, Jake" she said all serious. I gasped "you wouldn't!" I said. "Oh but I would pretty boy" she said giggling. "Do we have to go to school?" She said sounding sad. "Yea we have to, plus I have not beat the Fuck out of mikey yet" I said.  "I can't let my best friend beat a teacher" she said.
"Bestfriend" that word cut into me like a knife. It hurt. I loved lauren so damn much I wanted her to be mine I need the right time.

Lauren's Pov
Me and Jake walked to school and laughed about dumb shit as usual. He put his hand around my waist as we walked into school. We went to class together and Jake was being a tease. He would rest his hand on my thigh and I was about to scream. Until I started teasing him too. I put my hand on his knee and went up "fuck you" he whispered "he started biting his lip.

Lauren's Pov
The bell rang "awee saved by the bell" I said teasing him. We met at his locker "Did ya like that?"I said laughing " no you fucking tease " he said sadly.  "Hey Lauren, we need to talk"  my face fell.

Jakes Pov
Her face fell when I told her we needed to talk it hurt so bad but what I was going to tell her would make her happy. I took her hands in mine "you know your my bestfriend, Lauren"
I smiled and my face was turning red.
"Ms.Rose would you wanna go out on a date with me? Like a real date you deser-"
Before I could've said more Lauren kissed me our bodies moved in sync, I loved every second of her. She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me closer to her and gave me a bear hug. I love her so much. "Jake, sometimes you talk to much" she laughed.  " I know" I said resting my chin on her head still hugging her. "Were missing lunch" she said sadly. "I have a better  idea" I said smirking.
