Lucy cried to herself. For the first time ever, she was actually missing Hyde, which felt very wrong, she loved Jekyll after all. How could she even think of the idea of liking Hyde or anything of the sort?

Her head was cloudy and confused and her heart, divided. Jekyll's kiss was sweet and loving, like the morning dew that brushed against her legs when she walked calmly in the London streets. But Hyde's kiss was dark and passionate. It made Lucy go wild and lose her mind, it drove her insane and made her struggle with the temptation of doing things she was ashamed of saying out loud.

"Dearest Lucy..." Her thoughts were interrupted by the male voice coming from the other side of the door.
"Yes?" She replied and the door opened, revealing Hyde in his dark clothes, letting the cold air invade the room.
"Did you miss me?" He asked, taking off his coat and dropping it on the chair.
She didn't know what to reply, as she didn't want to sound desperate, like indeed she was, longing for his touch, but also didn't want to get in trouble, so she remained silent.
Hyde gave her a weird look, finding her sudden change of behavior really odd.
"Lucy..." He smirked and then walked to her. "What shall I do with you tonight?"
She was nervous. The reason? She didn't know. Why was she acting like it was the first time she was alone with him, why was everything so different now? Maybe she was, in fact, falling in love with him, since Mr. Hyde was the only one she could see after he imprisoned Lucy in her own room, similar to stockholm syndrome, a way to cope with his psychological torture.

Lucy couldn't look straight to his eyes. She was broken, physically and emotionally, she obviously didn't forget what he did to her the other night. He harmed her and left her.

She turned her head away, looking at the mirror and the memories of the night when Hyde shattered the old one came back to her mind. She began to cry, everything she was holding back and keeping to herself was coming out at that moment. Lucy realized she couldn't afford living like this anymore, scaring away the previous thought of the possibility of falling in love with that monster. All she could possibly feel for him was anything but love.

Hyde embraced her from behind with his cold arms and she gasped at the action.
"If this night was my last night on earth... What would you do?"
"What kind of question is this?" She asked confused.
"It's just a question. Now answer it."
"I would... Miss you?" Lucy said, not sure if she gave the right answer, but she didn't want to displease him. He stayed still for a moment.
"What do you mean last night on earth?" Lucy pushed his arms away and turned around so she could face him. He smiled ironically.
"Dear Lucy. Is it concern that I see in your eyes?"
She glared at him and ignored his teasing. He moved closer to his prey, putting his hand on the wall, trapping her.

"If I am not mistaken, I would say you are falling in love with me." Hyde whispered in her ear. He leaned in, his lips were so close to hers that she felt an uncontrollable urge to kiss him, but held back.
"In your dreams." Lucy turned her head away, avoiding his gaze.
"Well, it seems like it. You're acting strange and you can't barely look me in the eyes. Face it," He stroke her hair and pulled her close, making her rest her hand on his chest. "You can't go through a single night without thinking of me and wishing I was by your side." He abruptly let go of her, going to the other side of the small room.

Some minutes passed. Hyde sat on the bed and called for Lucy and she obeyed. His call was the one she couldn't resist.
"Now shall we have some fun or what? I'm starving." He placed his hands on her waist. "I shall enjoy this night like it's my last one, with this great meal. Would you join me?"
"Yes, Mr. Hyde." She rolled her eyes, tired of his stupid games and sarcastic, disgusting words.
"Come on. I promise you won't regret it." He purred. "And I also promise, Lucy... that you will never forget the following day; October 7th."

Lucy raised her eyebrow in suspicion and doubt, curious to know what he was talking about. October 7th, that was tomorrow. But what could possibly happen by then?

He forced her to sit on his lap and kissed her at last. The kiss became intense and Lucy was finally able to satisfy her needs, but Hyde pushed her away after the warm encounter of their lips. Oh, she forgot. Hyde and his little unpredictable surprises.
"There is something I must do first." Hyde spoke in a weird tone, almost sounding like another person. He covered his mouth quickly and looked at Lucy in what it semmed to be despair.
"Sir? Are you alri-"
"YES!" He shouted and got up, putting his coat on and leaving the room in an indescribable hurry, slamming the door.

Lucy stared at it for a while and then allowed herself to fall into the bed.
"That was strange. What is he hiding?"
