She is mine

Lucy woke up. She was so dizzy, that she fell on the bed again, failing her attempt to get up. But there was something odd. That wasn't her bed, it was too large and clean to be hers.

Suddenly, the door opened and there stood Derek with a glass of water.
Lucy drooled slightly, enchanted and speechless, as if she was seeing an angel or a prince. He handed the water to her and she drank everything at once.
"What happened last night?" She spoke those words in a strange tone, as though she was drunk or something.
"I found you in the street in front of the Red Rat. Spider kicked you out." He answered.
"Oh, so you remember him. And do you remember... Me?"
He laughed. "Of course I remember you. How could I ever forget?" He opened a soft smile, holding her hand. "I missed you."
"I missed you too, Derek. So many awful things happened to me while you were gone. I don't know what to do anymore! My life is a mess!" She said, leaning on him.
"Oh, Lucy... Just drink it." Derek said, putting more water or whatever it was on the glass and inclined it to her mouth.
"Wait, what?" She backed away and denied the shady drink. "What are you doing?"
"Come on! Don't you remember? The evenings when you sneaked out of the Red Rat and came here?"
Lucy looked around. How did she not recognize it before?

"Oh, your room..."
"Yes. Now let's have some fun. Just like the good old days!" He said, forcing her to the bed and kissing her lips. Wow. That was definitely very different from Hyde's kiss, she didn't feel any type of pleasure at all with Derek.
"No, stop!" She pushed his hands away and tried to get out of the bed, but he held her back. She didn't want to be used again. Just for one night, she wanted to forget everything. Was that too much to ask for? Jekyll sure would help with this. If only he gave her a chance...

"What's wrong, Lucy? What are you so afraid of?" He smirked.
She could sense danger in his voice. His intentions weren't good.
"Let me go!" She yelled and slapped his face, making him get his hands out of her.
"You little bitch!" He stood up and took her by the neck, moving his another hand down.
"Get off! You disgust me!" She struggled, giving her best to get away, but it was impossible, he was much stronger.
"Shut your mouth! I'm going to teach you how to behave!"
Derek ripped off her clothes and tied her up on the bed.
"Piece of shit, let me go, I don't work for you!"
He laughed and climbed up on her.

Then, there was a crash in the window.
They both looked at it. It was him, Edward Hyde, standing there, holding his walking stick and wearing his usual fur coat and black topper.
"Who the hell are you?" Derek scoffed.
"Someone you wouldn't know..." Hyde laid his gaze on Lucy and then looked back at him. "Now. Let the lady go."
"Ha! Why should I do as you say? Going to kill me or what?"
"Oh, no! I would never!" He laughed sarcastically and ran to him, punching the hell out of the bastard. Hyde thrusted his stick down Derek's throat and then kicked his stomach.
"Don't ever get close to her again. She is MINE!" As he screamed the last word with a pitch of fury, Hyde put him up against the wall, placing the stick on his neck.
"I-"
"DON'T YOU DARE TO SAY A WORD!" Hyde yelled, losing his patience. "You will die silently."

Lucy was still tied up and naked. She was so frightened, she couldn't even move.
"Hy-"
"WHAT?"
"Please, don't hurt him. Just... help me." She murmured.
Hyde hesitated for a moment, but then grew calm. However, before helping her, he beat Derek up one last time, leaving him bleeding everywhere. "Get near her again and I'll give you what you deserve. An immesurable pain, something so suffocating and agonizing, you'll beg me to kill you... And then, guess what... I'll leave you alive." He laughed out loud and dropped him.

Hyde went to her and untied the knots, leading her to the exit right after.
"Wear my coat, let's get out of here."

They both ran out of the house. It was almost sunrise.
"Mr. Hyde..." Lucy spoke quietly. "I have to confess that I felt relieved and... Safe when you arrived. Thank you." She smiled and held his hands gently while they walked down the street.
Hyde didn't say anything, only giving her a "what are you doing" stare.
Along the way, he craved his nails on her hand, making her squirm and ache in pain.
She turned to him annoyed. "Why did you do that?"
He didn't answer. Lucy slowly got her eyes watered and uncontrollably shed tears of hate. She swallowed her cry and shook her head.
"Well. Silly me to think that someone like you could ever be nice to me just once in your life." She let his hands go and crossed her arms.
"I am not Jekyll, you know, dearest Lucy." He said in a cold tone. "Don't confuse us. We may be very close, but we don't have anything in common. We are completely different."
"I can notice that." She said in her sarcastic tone as usual.
He looked at her and grabbed her waist, pulling her body close to his. She felt a little of agony, at first. Every time he did that, her body grew weak and her mind dispersed into sinful thoughts, forgetting the rest of the world around them.

"Don't forget who I am, Lucy." He licked her cheek and pushed her away. She nodded and then looked down, confused. Did he take pity on her? When she looked up, she was already at the Red Rat. Spider was waiting at the front door. Lucy turned around to see Hyde again, but he was gone. Without saying a word, he left... Again.

That, somehow, made her feel sad and empty. Today she has seen another side of Hyde. A protective Hyde, maybe, but that didn't matter now. Lucy tried to go inside but Spider stopped her.
"Did you drink alcohol?"
"A man forced me. Am I smelling like it?"
"Sure are, you're smelling like shit. And who was it?"
"He is not here anymore. My other owner practically ended him with a bunch of threats and punches."
"Oh, Mr. Hyde. He claimed you his, ya know. You can't escape him, he already payed me a great quantity of money and now you belong only to him." Spider said.
"Oh. I don't really-"
"Like I care! Go inside, whore! He does not want you to get out of your room until he says so. You can't receive any more visits from now on, he warned all of us last night."
"What?!" Lucy gasped. "Now I can't even go outside anymore?"

Thanks a lot, Mr. Hyde.

"Go!" He ordered.
She sighed and ran to her room.

That's where she was going to spend most of her time from now on, anyway.
