I was laying on my bed replying to Jared on Instagram when the doorbell rang. I groan and get up and call out to the person.
"It's Robin, I left my key in my room." She answers and I huff open the door to see Kelly with a bouquet of flowers
"Nope." I say and try to close the door but he stopped me with his hand
"Lynx please let me talk to you."
"You've done enough talking."
"Just let me talk." He says, and I step back and he enters in and I close the door and sat on the couch, putting my knees to my chest
"You have five minutes."
"Alright uh, Lynx...I only said what I said to protect you."
"Protect me? Colson you broke me." I say using his real name and he sighs, knowing I only call him that when I'm angry
"I know, and I'm sorry. Breaking your heart is something I would never have imagined me doing and I apologize for that. Lynx I...I love you alright and when I heard those words my brain convinced itself it was the right thing and...and-"
"We'll start slow." I say and he looks at me
"S-start-"
"We can start slow and build up trust as time goes on." I say and he nods and we both stand up
"Can I at least hug you?" He asks and I nod and pull him into a hug
"I'm sorry"
"I accept your apology Kelly."
