Finding A Home And Love Finding Me

Chapter 7

Star's P.O.V.
As I was staring out the cockpit's window, I suddenly see Guy going crazy. He started yelling "I found it! I found us a home!" I just couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe that it was true and actually happening. Guy finally found us a home.

Our new home planet was beautiful. It was a pinkish red colored plant with a bit of white stripes. I was so excited that I started crying happily and hugged Guy. We were finally home. I embraced him for the longest time and was engulfed in his scent. I suddenly slowly started to let go until I looked at him in his twinkling beautiful hazel brown eyes with a hint of sparkle blue in them.

I then kissed him and said "I love you too." He smiled and picked me up off the ground holding me and kissing me. Everything was finally perfect again. We have our new home and I fell in love with my best friend. I wish my parents were here to see how happy I am, but I know that they will always be in my heart and are watching me somewhere, somehow. This was my time to start my life over again and this time with the one I love and can share my life with.

When we finally break from the kiss, Guy takes us down into our new home. I couldn't wait to land and see everything. We don't have to search anymore. We can finally settle down in one place and relax. After a little while, we finally landed and got out of the Galactic Armada. When we got out, we were even more surprised.

It was more beautiful than when I saw it as we floated in space. I didn't know what to say, so instead I screamed and hugged Guy happily. Our long journey has finally ended and we can be happy.

~Six Years Later~

It has been a six years since we landed on this planet and we were happy. Guy and I got married four years ago and are now expecting a third child. Well actually third and fourth, I'm having twins. Five years ago I had a baby boy, two years after that I had a baby girl. And now I'm having a baby boy and a baby girl. Guy couldn't be any more happy than he is now.

He loves me and he loves being a dad. I couldn't have asked for a better father than him. I am truly grateful for him. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him in my life. My life with him has been amazing. Anyway, enough husband talk, it turns out we were able to find other aliens like us and were able to live peacefully with them.

We were able to create a home, have jobs and start our lives together. I know somewhere up there my family is happy and are smiling down at me. They would've loved this beautiful place and their grandchildren. I did all this for them. They protected me because I'm their legacy and I got to live on to bring more legacies into existence for me and for them. So I think I did good.

As I sit outside in the purple grass with my husband behind me holding me as he rubs my big pregnant belly,I watch my kids play and I smile. As I watch them play I think, 'I love my family. I wouldn't have asked for a better life than this. However, I wish you were here mom and dad. I love and miss you guys. You guys would've been great grandparents. Your legacy will continue to live on.'
