Chapter 29

Justin planned a bachelor party for today so Vic and I hired a baby sitter named Veronica, she seemed really sweet on the phone. I'm a bit scared to leave Copeland with someone still because of what happened a year ago. I hope I can trust Veronica with her even though Copeland will probably be asleep most of the time.

"Kellin calm down Copeland will be okay for one night without us." Vic says while burping Copeland gently.

"But what if Veronica takes her, what if Copeland gets hurt, what if Veronica leaves the house while Copeland is sleeping." I say a bit frantic and scared.

"None of that will happen Kellin she seems like a nice girl. It's going to be okay and everything will be perfect, it's one night without her you'll live." Vic says in a soothing, yet harsh voice. Sometimes he scares me with the tone of his voice and how harsh it can be.

"Fine but if something happens I'm blaming you for it." I growl accusingly at him. Vic sets Copeland down in her baby bouncer when the door bell rings. I write all of our contact information on a piece of paper along with what to do and what not to do.

Vic answers the door and a mid height girl with teal hair and fair skin stands in the door way. She smiles at Vic and I as I hand her the piece of paper. "Hi, I'm Veronica it's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Vic and Kellin Fuentes." Her voice says in a sing song way.

I look at Vic and he gives me a smirk. "It's lovely to meet you Veronica, I'm Vic and Copeland is in the baby bouncer. Be careful when you take her out of it because she can walk and she can run so she will run around. Copeland isn't allowed in the kitchen or upstairs and her bed time is 10." Vic tells her with a more parental tone this time.

"All of our contact information is on that piece of paper in case anything happens." I try not to get a bad tone with her.

"Okay I promise to take good care of the little angel while you two have a fun night." She practically sings to us as we let her into the house. She goes over to Copeland and crouches down in front of her. "Hi Copeland I'm Veronica."

Vic drags me out of the house and to his puke green truck which I still hate so very much. I get in the passenger seat and Vic gets in the drivers seat. I watch him at the engine roars to life and he drives to the location that Tony gave him.

Tony said that I wasn't allowed to know where it was he said it was a surprise. I hope it isn't some stripper place. Those places are sleazy and demeaning. The people that work there are trashy and gross. Knowing Justin though he probably hired a stripper or a prostitute.

Vic drives up to this place, it looks like a club with flashing lights and a colorful surrounding, but the parking lot is pretty much empty. This place gives me a freaky yet sexy vibe. I guess this place is okay.

Vic parks the car by the front door and turn to me. "Stay here and under no circumstance are you to get out until I come and get you, okay." Vic says demandingly. I nod obediently and sit still as he gets out and goes inside, leaving me in the car.

I honestly hate being in the car alone, I always feel like I have to hide from the people outside the car. I guess it's all really just paranoia that people will wanna take me away. I sink into my seat and hug my knees to my chest, watching out the window. Nobody passes by which is really odd but I'm not gonna question it.

It feels like an eternity before Vic comes and gets me when in reality it has only been an hour. The wait wasn't silent or anything because he left the keys so I could listen to music on the radio. He opens the car door next me. "Well this is an interesting way to sit Kells." He snickers and helps me up out of my seat.

"Don't judge me you left me alone in a car in the middle of an empty parking lot, I'm allowed to be scared." I say accusingly to him.

"That tone was hurtful, come on lets go everyone is waiting for you to come inside." I roll my eyes and head towards the door, music thumping through the walls. I groan slightly, as Vic opens the door and pushes me down the hall. "Loosen up Babe it's a party celebrating us and our marriage that's tomorrow."
