Chapter 4 : Lindsey and her past

"Amber?" Ally snapped me out of my thoughts. "Huh? Wha?" I said shaking my head. "What happened? You literally zoomed out there" Ally said. " uh... Nothing... just thinking about how our new lives would be in that church" I lied.

She shrugged and looked back put the window.

It wasn't long before we got to the church. I pulled over in front and opened my door.

"I'll go see if anyone's here" I said and stepped out of the car. "Wait don't leave me!" Ally said knocking on the glass window. "Don't worry, I won't take long. And you can finally play any song you want on the radio to keep you company" I said and walked in.

I was only a few steps in the church when suddenly the door closed with a loud thud. I couldn't see anything in here. It was too dark.

I ran to the door and tried to open it. "Aww seriously? It's literally the first day... Nothing like this should happen" I said trying to open the door.

Thud

I jumped when I heard a thud. "Anyone there?" I said as I turned around. Nothing reported but silence. "Show yourself!" I said.

All the lights turned on and I could see Bailey on the other side of the church. "You should have seen your face" he chuckled. "Ohh wait you couldn't, you were too busy freaking out" he said mockingly.

Bailey was my friend from church. Since we went too school together and I would see him every Wednesday and Sunday in the church, we eventually became friends. And since he's just an Orphan, he stays in the church and help around.

"Hahaha so funny Bailey" I rolled my eyes. "Why are you here anyway?" He said and started to open the windows. "Well..." I hesitated. "Because Amber and her sister will be staying with us for a few months" Father James said as he walked in. "Wait... What?!" Bailey said. "Yes. She has some 'problems' that we need to help her with" Fr. James said.

They helped us with our bags and showed us to a room.

"So... tell us" Fr. James said and sat down on a chair. I started telling them the story and Bailey was just listening with his jaw dropped. And Ally on the other hand was looking at me with wide eyes. But Fr. James stayed like he heard this story before.

"So that's it" I said. "That's it? That's it?! Seriously?! You call that that's it?! That brings things so much worst!" Ally said. "Calm down Ally..." I said. She was about to speak but Fr. James held out his hand to stop her.

"Typical" Fr. James said. "Typical?" Three of us said in unison. "Yes. Typical of her to do this" He said. "Um... Her?" I asked. "Yes her. She has been doing this for so long" he replied. "I have no idea what's going on" I said.

Fr. James stood up and walked towards the fireplace.

"Her name was Lindsey... she was torchured by her aunt who kept her since her parents died. One day, Lindsey's aunt had enough of her and drowned her in the well" He said.

"What? But why is she going to kill people who watch the video?" Ally asked. "She only chooses those who have great lives. And those girls will be bond to watch the video, and when they do... everything that happened to Amber will happen to them. And even more worst things will happen when the 7th day comes closer." Fr. James replied.

"But why does she target the girls with great lives?" Bailey asked. Fr. James was about to speak but I cut him off. "Because if she never had a great life... then no one can" I said.
