Brennan's POV:
I grab my phone and text mom.
Hey. I knows it's late, but Brandon's got stuff to do in the morning. In going to pick up Katie from her friends house on my way home. See you soon.
Next, I go to Annie.
"Give me you're phone."
She looks up with her red eyes and hands it over. She watches me type in between sobs. I unlock her phone and text her mom.
Hey mom. Sorry so late. Decided to go spend the night at Katie's. See you after gym tomorrow. xx
And lastly, Katie's phone.
Hey, Annie's going to spend the night. Brennan's bringing us home.
I give back their phones and Eros both their shoulders around me so I can help them walk out to my truck. I sit then in the back and buckle them in. Annie's not crying anymore, but her eyes are still red. I hand then water from the flat I have hidden in the front and speed away from that stupid party. My original plan was to get and uber with Brandon and crash at his place, since I did drink. But I'm so determined to get them home for some reason that my earlier buzz doesn't even have an effect on me anymore.
After a few minutes of driving, the trick is completely silent. Katie's passed out and Annie's just staring out the window. They're drunk as hell and now my truck smells like someone dumped a bottle of vodka in it. Once were home, it seems like everyone is asleep. I sneak in, Annie by my side as I carry Katie to downstairs to the spare bedroom. I don't need them waking up mom and dad from some random drunk conversation. Once they're in there, I run into Katie's room and grab some random clothes. I give them to the girls and wait in the hallway for them to change. As soon as they're changed I throw their alcohol soaked clothes in the wash. I've never had to do this for Katie, as she's the perfect child who never does anything wrong. That's means she's never had a boyfriend, no partying, and definitely no drinking.
Once they're done and in the bed I leave and sit on the deck, staring at the river.
I hear light footsteps. I assume it's Katie, and tell her to go to sleep.
"Actually.. It's me."
It's Annie.
She pulls a chair next to mine quietly.
"Im sorry about everything... tonight was a mess." She mutters.
"Its not you're fault." I say.
"Yeah.. It is. It's my fault Katie came to the party, it's my fault she got so drunk, and it's my fault she played truth or dare and made out with that guy. Hell, it's even my fault Tyler cheated." She whispers, tears brimming her eyes once again.
"What do you mean? Tyler's an ass. It's not your fault." I reassure her.
"It is. I kept pushing him to the side because of gymnastics...school...the stupid vlogs.." She says, a tear falling down her cheek.
"If I gave him more attention, maybe he wouldn't have broke my heart." She finishes off, wiping away the tear.
"And now all I do is drink until I can't feel anything. I hate myself." She sighs.
"The fact that you've probably had even more alcohol than Katie and you can still have a conversation that sounds sober amazes me." I laugh, and she even lets out a chuckle.
"Perks of drinking until you pass out every other night." She says.
"I should get some sleep if I'm going to survive gym tomorrow. I just wanted to apologize. See you tomorrow." She says before walking away. I let out a deep sigh and follow her inside. I go to my bed and pass out almost instantly.

*THE NEXT DAY*
Annie's POV:
I wake up with a pounding headache. Katie's still passed out next to me. Despite the amount of alcohol I had last night, I still remember quite a lot. I guess I was blessed with a high tolerance.
I push Katie awake and she instantly groans.
"Oh.. My god. It feels like someone threw a bag of bricks at my whole body. I can not do gym today. I'll never survive." She groans.
"How drunk was I?" She asks, turning to me.
"Very. I think you might have hooked up with someone..." I admit.
"WHAT?!" She hisses so she doesn't wake anybody up
"And you let me?!" She whispers.
"I didn't even have time to stop you. You argued with Brennan and then you were gone." I defend myself. After I explain what happened everything that happened last night she covers her head with her pillow.
"Im a wreck... Please never let me get that drunk next time." She groans.
"So there will be a next time?" I giggle.
"The parts I do remember were fun as hell. I don't remember seeing Mia very much though... did she ditch us?" She asks.
"No, but I could tell she was uncomfortable. She took my car to my place and got an uber back to her place. Katie nodded to note that she understood.
"Here. Drink some water, it'll help with the hangover." I say, handing her a bottle.
"How do you go to gym when you go partying?" She grumbles.
"Water and healthy foods. I'm pretty used to being hungover now.." I admit embarrassingly.
We brush our teeth and put on a leo so we're ready for gym. Luckily, today's Saturday, so it's a short day. We go upstairs.
"Hey girls! Katie and Annie decided to have a last-minute sleepover last night. You guys look so tired! Did you get much sleep?" Jill asks.
"Not really. It's so hot downstairs!" Katie complains for the camera.
"Well, have fun at gym today. Brennan is gonna give you guys a ride. Isn't he the best brother ever?" She laughs, turning it to him. We grab our bags, say our farewells, and head to gym.

Brennan's POV:
"Oh my gosh, it smells like vodka in here." Katie complains.
"I know." I mutter. I'm hungover too, and now I have to wash my truck.
"Brennan, I'm really sorry about last night. I promise next time I won't get that drunk." She apologizes.
"I get it. It was basically your first time getting drunk, so you didn't know when to stop or what to expect. You'll get better." I reply.
Once they're at the gym, I head to Andrea's to help with clean up. The people she invites aren't jerks who trash her dad's house, so it's usually just gathering all the empties and taking them to the dump. I almost always help, just because it's the nice thing to do.
"Thanks for coming to help. So.. You're sister..." She laughs.
"Yeah.. It was her first time drinking. Guess she didn't know when to stop." I grumble. Andrea gets the point that I'm hungover & grumpy and stays silent.
The rest of the day was a blur, full of cleaning, driving, and sleeping. Once I was finally home, I didn't even eat. I just went straight to sleep.

Juicy.
Don't worry, the brannie is gonna be coming in hot the next couple chapters. Stay tuned ;)
