I can watch both, honestly. But, if I start and anime in English dubbed, I usually want to finish it that way. I hate switching over. Same as if I started it in English subbed.

I like watching both versions for the anime, to be honest, because I like listening to the voice actors. Especially if they have an accent. (John from Ghost Hunt has an Australian accent in English dubbed. Victor and Yurri have Russian accents in English dubbed.)

Trying to watch one episode in English dubbed and then the next in English subbed gives me a headache lol. I try to avoid that and just watch it all in the same language and then switch later on and rewatch it if the anime was really good.

So, really, I can watch both. English dubbed is a bit better if you are trying to multitask (where English is my first language), buuut, can't say that watching it subbed hasn't helped me grasp a few Japanese phrases and sentences. ;) The language is beautiful anyways, so I never mind watching it in subbed.
