Dear Diary:
I got asked by the girls to go out and eat with them. At first, I denied, I couldn't leave my children alone. But Ino waved my statement off telling me that Shikamaru could stay with them for the time being. What, with him babysitting Mirai and all, he was very capable. A little unsure, I accepted. Shikamaru came to my house thirty minutes before my meeting with the girls and stayed inside for a little while until I left. I got out, laughed and enjoyed the night. When I came back, I found my kids on the floor, both of their heads on top of Shikamaru's stomach and chest. The three of the asleep. Not having the heart to wake them, I put a blanket over their bodies and let them sleep.
Before I fell asleep on the couch all I could think was that Shikamaru could make a wonderful father.
