I did my business and washed my hands, I was still in a daze as I walked out.

"You know, I don't think I've met a girl like you Sage," I practically jumped ten feet in the air when I heard Asher's voice, I thought he left, I turned to where his voice came from he was leaning against the opposite wall from me, I couldn't see much of anything else, just his figure.

"You scared the sh*t out of me," I put my hand on my chest to calm my heart beat, "I told you I'm not like other girls."

"Yes I see that now, no girl has ever talked to me the way you did," he said nodding his head while walking toward me.

"Well maybe someone should have, glad I was the one to do it," I stated proudly, crossing my arms, as he was only a few inches from me.

He chuckled softly, leaning his face a little closer, I felt his breath hit my face.

"I'm glad you were the one too," he tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.
My breathing stopped as I just starred into his intense icy eyes. I stepped away before things went farther

"I have to go," I said as I started to walk away, I stopped when his hand reached out and grabbed my arm.

"Let me drive you home?" he asked.

I thought about it for a minute, 'I don't want to take Jade and Sydney from having fun and I don't have another ride.'

I look back at him, "sure," I say softly.
I softly gasp as he takes hold of my hand and leads us down stairs, we make it through the crowd to the front door.

We make it outside and to his white mustang, he finally realized he was holding my hand and drops it trying to hid his slight blush behind his hair. I smile slightly and got in the passenger seat, I quickly texted Jade to let her know I got a ride, she responded with 'kk.'

We drove in silence, me staring out the window watching the street lights pass by, giving directions when needed, and every now and then I'd feel his eyes on me.

"So, why'd you and your family decide to move here?" Asher randomly asked.

I hummed, "trying to get to know me are we now Mr. Jack*ss?" I said as I looked over at him.

"What no I-I was just curious," he nervously said scratching the back of his neck, I giggled like actually giggled because of how nervous he looked. 'stupid alcohol.'

We arrived at my house and I looked over at him, even though it was dark and saw his icy eyes already boring into mine.

"Thank you for the ride," I said.

"It was no problem," he smiled.

I opened the car door and stepped out, he rolled down the window and I leaned in it a little.

"Sage, I was wondering if you would like to hang out sometime, get to know each other or something," he scratched the back of his neck, 'he seems to do that when he's nervous.'

"Aw, is the bad boy asking me out?" I giggled.

He chuckled nervously, "I might be?"

"I'll have to think about it," I bite my lip in thought.

He looks down at my lip then shakes his head, he smirks, "that's not an answer."

I wink, "no one said it was,"
I start to walk away, I get to my door and turn back and wave.

He waves back and I go inside and lean against the door, smiling.

"What was that about?" I jump as I look up to my mom smiling with her arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.

I blush, I didn't realize she would be up this early since it is half past midnight, "what are you doing up?"

"I had a late night shift and I didn't know where you were," she walked a little closer and smiled, "now again, what was that?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said looking down heading for my room.

"Mhm, whatever goodnight, love you," she said as she headed to her room, obviously not believing me.

I still have the smile on my face as I flop on my bed and sigh with one question in my head.

'What was that?'
