Chapter 7

When I got home around midnight I got a text so I grabbed my phone and some clothes for a shower.

From Delihla:

'Hey Sage, I was hoping we could hang out tomorrow night? It was really great to see you ;-)'

To Delihla:

'Oh yea pick you up at 8?'

From Delihla:

'Sounds perfect, babygirl.'

To Delihla:

'Alright, see you then princess.'

I smiled at the nicknames we had when we were together, even tho all I could think of was Asher's face when he heard Delilah was my ex.I shook the thoughts out of my head and headed for my bathroom.

I stripped and stepped in my shower, I saw my razor and it brought back so many memorizes, it almost made me cry if I could cry, I haven't cried in years.

I got out of the shower and put on a sports bra with short shorts for bed. I took some sleeping pills and went to bed, I was sure it wasn't gonna be easy to sleep tonight.

I woke up to knocking on the front door, knowing my mom was sleeping for work tonight I ran for the door.

I swung it open to reveal Asher standing there looking nervous and then all over my body with sadness. I was confused why I looked down I realized why, he could see all of my scars.

I ran to the couch and wrapped a blanket around my body and walked back to the door.

"What do you want?" I asked quietly.

"Uh," he was still in a sad daze, "I wanted to know if you wanted to come to this party I'm throwing at my house."

"I would really love to," I hesitated, "but I kinda already have plans tonight."

"Oh," he looked disappointed, "that's ok, I should have known you'd have plans."

He started to walk away, but stopped and turned to me, "if you don't mind me asking what are your plans for tonight."

"I have a date if u must know Mr. Jack*ss," I state smiling widely at him.

"Mr. Jackass, huh? Thought you'd come up with something less childish," he smirked at me and turn to get in his car.

My smile fell and I flipped him off before he was completely out of my driveway, he just drove off laughing.

I walked back inside and went to the kitchen for food, I checked the time and it read 3:06, 'God I slept for that long? I so missed school.'

I got some chips, popcorn, and candy and headed back to my bed, I sat all the food around me and turned on my TV, I chose to watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. until I have to get ready for my date.

I finished watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. an check the time on my phone, 6:55, 'ok so that means I have almost an hour to get ready.'

I got up and hooked my phone up to my speakers and your favorite dress by lil peep started playing. I hopped into the shower real quick.

I sang along and hopped out of the shower and headed to my closet.

I picked out a blue long sleeve crop top and my black ripped up shorts, 'this should be appropriate for our date, shes already seen my scars.'

I got dressed and started doing my makeup, I did a smoky eye and curled the ends of my hair, I looked at myself in the mirror and I looked decent enough.

I grabbed my keys and hopped on my motorcycle, I remember the way to Delilah's house like the back of my hand.
