I stare at Krissy and Jared, for about a minute. Our long famous stares, than we bursted out laughing. That's when we heard a second knock. I spray some body mist in the air to get rid of the tingling smell of marijuana lingering in the living room. I do a soft jog to the door. I peek through the peek hole, it's a bunch of people. I take a deep breath and run my fingers through my black bangs. I smile real big and open the door.

"You're Jeni, right?" the stranger asked me.

"Correct," I politely answered.

"Is this the big party everyone's talking about?" he asked me. "The whole school was talking about it" I felt a rush of chills run down my spine, as I nodded. That's when I could've stopped him, but I didn't. And that's when he shouted over his shoulder "Alright everyone, every body get in!" He gave me a cute smile, and walked past me.

One after another people keep piling in, I decided to just wait on the couch, now crowded by people. Still passing around the blunt. That's when I spot it, uh I mean her. This girl, she's sitting in my kitchen alone, smoking a cigarette. But it's different she's crying, mascara running down her face staring at her phone. I go over to her, knowing I'm not good with words I should've just stayed put but some vibe sent me over there.

"Uh you alright?" I ask calmly.

"Does it look like I'm fucking alright?!" she basically screams at me.

"Uh well no, that's why I asked. What's wrong, hun?" I ask, still calm.

"Just I'm tired of everything, things keep getting worse. There's this guy I like you see, but he likes this girl. He doesn't know I like him, but it hurts me seeing them together. It hurts so much-" she started saying while I cut her off.

"Listen babe, it's gonna be okay. Just wanna get smacked off our asses till we don't feel anything and forget all about this guy?" I asked with a slight smile. That's when she gave me a smile I wouldn't forget.

"Sure, let's do it, what's your name by the way?" she asked still smiling.

"Jeni, Jeni James," I responded calmly.

"Oh so you're the person holding the party eh? It's pretty dang sweet ass party here already." She said laughing.

"Heh thanks, hey let's go up to my room and roll one, what do ya say?"

I asked with a half smirk. I let out my hand, she grabbed it and I took her upstairs.
